Hello dear listener! I hope you enjoy this little ramble of mine :P

Apologies if I sound a little annoyed at the end but after a while some things start to get a bit tedious to address again. I'm open with what I like and what I'm comfortable with and that's that. Expressing disappointment or pressuring someone into doing something they don't like is never cool, so I just wanted to put that out there. Always be yourself and only do what you want! :)

On a more important note: let me know what animes, mangas or books you've been enjoying lately! Or just in general how you are :D

Edit; I also wanted to say thanks for the color suggestions so far on the upcoming characters! As of now I’ve colored the vampire so feel free to let me know if you have any ideas for the other two ❤️

sorry you have to deal with the nsfw pressure. glad you are making your boundaries clear! are there any triggers (sfw) you consider off limits or are uncomfortable doing?

Well I’m happy to listen got off work and went straight to the gym had a good workout but I’m super tired and hungry so I’m listening while eating dinner. I feel you with the allergy’s specifically oak pollen gets me and they are one of the most common trees here. I’m not a fan of going to any medical visits but they are important got a dentist appointment in 3 days 😭. Lost media is definitely a scary thing losing something that you really liked and maybe even grew up with is horrifying and it happens to much in this modern day and age. I’m always down for more creepy ghost/paranormal anime perhaps I shall check some those out. As for me I just finished the dmc anime it’s pretty good I haven’t played the games but I’ve watched a lot of lore videos and in my opinion it’s a good anime just don’t treat it like it’s supposed to be a copy of the games and I think it’s a fun watch good fights interesting story the white rabbit is a really cool and interesting villain I’d give it a 8.25 out of 10 solid watch but no get another subscription to watch. Also watching Naruto slowly getting through it. Also watch assassinations classroom korosensai is now one of my favorite anime characters. My grandparents used to have 2 Siamese cats I loved them so much and they were kinda standoffish to everyone but me and they liked to climb on my shoulders any time I sat down near them I miss them. You stand your ground Ali I’m glad you won’t give in to the pressure this is your content your making and if they don’t like it they need to deal with it and not try to make you do something your uncomfortable with and respect the boundaries you set and you should never feel like you need to do something you wouldn’t enjoy or feel comfortable with when it comes to your content creation and artistic liberty’s so 100% fuck anyone who tries to pressure you on that. Not that my opinion on this matters but Personally I’m glad you don’t do nsfw audios I don’t think I’d be here if you did not that I have anything against people who do that kind of stuff it just makes me uncomfortable. As for how I’m doing well it’s a bit of an up and down this week so I learned a couple days ago my only real close irl friend my best friend I’ve been friends with for years is probably gonna move away soon so that really really sucks I struggle a lot with being social at all and I’ve been doing better but I still wouldn’t consider any of my coworkers friends but I atleast have conversations with them sometimes now so losing thee ability to talk the only person I feel I can freely talk in person is not an idea I like to think about but on the positive side since I got a raise a while back I have a bit of extra money now and I’ve also lost so much weight that my clothes don’t really fit anymore so I think I’m get myself a new wardrobe over the next couple of months and also try to actually have some style this time around since I actually feel pretty good physically now and am in a better headspace then before I lost the weight and I care about how I look now not necessarily for other but for myself and something I’ve come to the realization is that I really like overcoat/mantle sorta things and every character that wears them are super badass and I think they look super good so I wanna look into getting a nice leather one but for reference when say overcoat/mantle I’m talking like Dante from dmc Feixiao from Honkai Star rail and like the hokages from Naruto something like that they just look so cool and I know I’d feel super cool walking around town in one of those l lol. Our anime forefathers before us once told us “An anime fan just watches but a true weeb pirates” these were very wise words indeed. Also if you’re in the comedy mood. I highly recommend the anime “tis time for torture princess” TLDR, it’s basically about this royal princess who gets captured and tortured by the dark enemy forces. But they torture her by giving her delicious food everyday for secrets of her kingdom. It’s one of those shows you just turn your brain off and Enjoy the humor. It’s kinda like that deer anime humor. You only watch it when all your main shows are off season and you’re itching for some comedy type of anime.

"Kindly fuck off" is an attitude I can agree with on a topic that you've no doubt had to deal with a gajillion times, no need to apologize for it. Make the content that you want, no more and no less! I can get people wanting to suggest stuff in the abstract, but NSFW stuff in particular sounds like it's been suggested maybe a bit too often, and maybe multiple times by some too-insistent people. If they can't take a hint, gotta spell it out for 'em, yeah? ...Anyway, I put that first cause it's the most important by far, but thoughts on the rest of the ramble: Screw pollen season, I'll drink to that. Where I live it gets so bad in the spring that cars parked outside just completely turn yellow if you leave them alone on a bad day—and there are a lot of bad days, especially late March and early April. If it weren't for that, I would've said Spring is just better Summer here, but the allergies alone make me think about it a little bit. I'd actually just heard about buzzballz for the first time earlier today in passing, so hearing you mention them is a fun coincidence! The little round bottle looks really cute, it's kinda similar in style to something that a local bar around my neck of the woods uses for its gimmick cocktails. I don't usually drink on my own and many of my friends don't at all, so I wouldn't naturally have a reason to grab any, but I love fruity drinks so maybe I should keep them in mind <.< When you started in on the Lost Media discussion for anime and manga, especially the original FMA, I started nodding along cause I had a specific example of a nasty-expensive one in my head—and then you brought up Monogatari on your own! It's my favorite anime, but I don't own it physically for reasons that you're already familiar with, haha. It is *insane* to me that the base retail price for not only the Blu-Ray, but *individual seasons* of the show, is so high; like, it's not even scalpers trying to resell something that's out of print, it's the official distributors jacking it up right out the gate. Incredible props to you, getting (almost) the whole thing, I'd be jealous if I wasn't so happy for you (^o^) But I did get the light novels recently, so I'll be reading those with you! ...Well, I will be between volumes of not a manga, but a book! A friend from my mahjong club recommended a fantasy-with-tones-of-sci-fi series called Dungeon Crawler Carl, which I've gotten hooked on. I'm already on book three of the series even though I just recently got started 😅😅😅 The premise is that aliens have turned the Earth into a giant video game style dungeon—complete with leveling systems and user interfaces—and """encouraged""" humans to trek through it for their amusement, and the story follows the title protag and his cat when they get swept up in it all. Even though the writing style is pretty light and comedic, like, it doesn't aspire to be very prosaic or complex in its themes and there's more gore than there is horror, individual situations can get pretty dark every now and then. Being forced to essentially play a real-life hack-and-slash mystery dungeon video game with no respawn, by gamemasters/developers who are treating it like it's still just a game to them, is pretty fucked when you stop to think about it, and the book doesn't let you forget that bit, ever. It's not nearly as dark or psychological as Perfect Blue, though, and even though I haven't read it, I can easily tell just from the fact that it's not perfectly available in the U.S. that it's not as dark as Magical Girl Apocalypse. *That* sounds like a fascinating read, I may have to look into that one.

Been really looking forward to the FMA collection ever since you mentioned it - super happy we'll be getting to see it soon! :D And I completely agree with your take on physical media. Gotta grab it while it's still available - because once something goes out of print, it becomes a total nightmare to track down. Even if you do find it, it's often secondhand and way overpriced. (Still sniping for .hack//Another Birth Vol. 3 and 4 - when they pop up on eBay, they're almost always gone in minutes… it's brutal. :/) Also, really sorry you're still having to deal with people pestering you about NSFW stuff. I can only imagine how exhausting it must be getting those kinds of messages over and over again. You've always been clear that your content is SFW - it's literally in the channel description! But apparently, even reading that is too much effort for some. :/ If someone prefers NSFW content, that's totally their choice - but pushing creators who've never made that kind of content (and have been open about not doing it) is just not okay. It's frustrating that you even have to say it out loud, especially when most of us are here because we genuinely enjoy what you create as it is. <3 On a lighter note, I've been watching Shangri-La Frontier lately - it's about a guy who's spent all his time playing terrible VR games and finally decides to try a polished VR MMO instead. It's been surprisingly fun so far! A nice mix of light-hearted adventure with a few emotional moments thrown in. Definitely recommend it! I'm also planning to start the Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson soon. I've heard so much praise about it, and I've been craving a good, in-depth fantasy world. So, I'll probably be lost in that for a while. xD Also thinking of finally starting Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans. It's been sitting on my list forever, and I've been in the mood for something with heavier, darker themes lately. We'll see how far down the rabbit hole I go. :3 Hope your evening's going well, and I'm looking forward to your next ramble too! They're always such a cozy listen.

Gah. Sorry people are still jumping at the bit to hear you do nsfw audios when you don't want to. I wish people would get to know creators better before making "suggestions" to them. Especially for anyone who does make any sort of nsfw art. People will just assume that if they're okay with one thing in nsfw fashion that they're okay with everything. And that's not true. Everyone has different comforts. People have their own comforts, yet still haven't learned to take into account everyone else's. This even happens the other way. Recently another ASMRtist who makes fluffy sfw videos wanted to branch into nsfw audios on a separate platform so as to not have that mix into their Youtube channel, and they were flooded with comments from some of her "fans" saying things like "please don't do this" "i'm disappointed" and "this is uncomfortable for me." Artists should get to make the art they want to make. Period.

Ended up listening during my lunch break, definite no to anything ASMR related before bed, ended up having horrid sleep lol and yea, the pollen is still really bad... got in my car today and was about to leave when a pollen devil popped up lol my car started shaking a lot and i looked up to just see pollen and leaves swirling around the car. But ooh, buzzballs? Never had them, but I've heard great things, maybe I'll pick some up for my next camping trip! And I hear ya about the anime situation, there are some that I just cannot find anywhere, not even when sailing the high seas because no one has the license for the US market anymore, and now that Sony pretty much has a monopoly on anime after acquiring Crunchyroll and shutting down Funimation, licenses are dropping left and right and there are no legal ways to see some anime that were just on crunchyroll a couple months ago. Can't even find physical media.. And aww man! You just crushed my hopes and dreams of hearing an Alichu NSFW audio! Jk jk jk seriously, jk, you do the wholesome and sometimes horror stuff, I can't see you doing the NSFW audios lol but man though... the requests and pressuring have gotten THAT bad to elicit this kind of response..? Hopefully this ramble causes those requests to slow down, ugh...

I typically dislike premixed drinks lol but it's interesting that you bring that up. A good friend of mine this weekend told me that his dad has been working on starting his own premixed drink. They're actually about to launch at several stores over by where I live. He gave me a box as a gift, so I now I have a bunch at home. It's actually kinda good, so maybe i'll change my mind about premixed drinks eventually... Probably not though :P "If you don't like something, don't watch it, don't read it." I love that. I wish more people accepted and lived by those words. I don't really understand why some people go out of their way to shit on someone's interests when it doesn't affect them. Oh man, I'm super behind on all anime I've been watching. I usually keep a list of shows I plan to watch and never let it get past 20 shows. That list is nearly at 40 now. Seeing the number get bigger kinda stresses me out and makes me not want to watch lol I'll just have to binge soon. The NSFW thing is interesting. I'm glad you keep standing your ground. I find it kind of baffling that they don't just read the profile where it says exclusively SFW. If someone saw that but they keep pestering you, then they're an asshole. I'll confess, one of the reasons I originally became a patron was because you do not do NSFW audio. I don't really have anything against NSFW audio, I get why people like it but hearing someone moan into a microphone doesn't really put me to sleep :P You're one of my favorites now though and I'm incredibly loyal (if I say so myself), I'll support you no matter what you decide to create or not. As for how I'm doing? Well, things could always be better right? But I'm happy right now. I'm basically counting down the daya until summer... Not that I have anything planned haha but that's paid time off for me! I might look into getting a summer job somewhere, but I like to plan ahead and I'd also like to use that time to plan things like trips for next year.

Standing on business in the last bit here, hell yeah. You talking about getting blood drawn reminded me of the time that I told a phlebotomist that they were a bad vampire. It haunts me cause I realize that was kind of mean.

There's a non-zero chance that it was me who said pre-mixed drinks are bad lol, if it was definitely don't feel judged, I've had my fair share of mixers. Personally, I actually decided to stop drinking outside of social settings with friends or on holidays. I was starting to drink more and more out of habit, and drinking is pretty antithetical to the body I'm trying to build. I put in the work to train, so I decided to stop hurting my gains and cut out alcohol almost entirely. Also you're not joking about NC pollen. I took a work trip out there in March and the pollen was insane. My rental was absolutely COATED, and even though I don't normally get seasonal allergies something about North Carolina pollen was kicking my ASS

Sounds like some decent life stuff you brought up here. It's unfortunate how difficult it is to even maintain media from merely a decade ago without many of them becoming lost media or inaccessible. While I don't have much physical media myself, I am starting to think I should get a move on that for manga and anime I like before it becomes impossible to get for myself. Understandable regarding your boundaries regarding sfw/nsfw content both in your art and your audios. Speaking for myself, while I am okay with a certain degree of pin-up style art or design choices, I do still wanna lean sfw myself and not wanna draw nsfw content. Sucks that folks keep pestering you in a certain way regarding such content. For how I'm doing: Been working my part time job more over this month, and honestly been struggling with time management and motivation to do personal projects in art as of late and other pursuits I want. Maybe it's just the current environment or maybe I'm just a bit burned out after all I worked on and did over these past few months. Did take care of my taxes, and got my license and vehicle registry updated for where I now live, and did finish a big project I collabed on that should come to late at the end of the month. I've been getting a few interviews recently, so hopefully I can move on from this retail job and get something better.

I appreciate your comment and understanding on the sfw/nsfw topic too Kai, thank you! I think I’ve done well at distinguishing what I’m ok/not ok with. This is the last time I’ll be addressing it from now on. If people don’t want to read then that’s on them xD Moving and starting fresh takes a lot of time and energy so don’t be hard on yourself. The fact that you got your taxes and vehicle stuff taken care of along with a part time job is already awesome! I think a lot of people forget/don't realize how much work it takes to just live nowadays, so be proud of yourself for what you’ve accomplished. You’ll also get that motivation again- I’m rooting for you :D
