I never collected cards so I don’t really get the hype but it was still nice hearing you fan girl 😂 can’t wait to listen to the feral girl! The way you were describing it got me very interested!

Personally I really enjoy your darker story’s all your story’s are interesting but especially the darker ones I’m not easily startled or bothered by anything gruesome and what not so even if our character as the listener is getting brutally eaten by the monster girl I can still find it relaxing and entertaining so I’m happy to hear you enjoyed making this one The place I used to buy pokemon card is like a 3 minute walk from where I work so afterwork I check every so often and they just never have pokemon cards anymore but it’s nice you found some and got the mimikyu you wanted. I’ve had monkeys crawl on me in real life they were really small and relatively well trained I’m definitely with you there though I do not trust them they started pulling my hair towards the end of the visit because I ran out of the treats the employees gave us but the trainer just got it off me.since you like cloud so much I bet you would like raiden from metal gear aswell he a. Cyborg emo boy I wonder if they make metal gear rising trading cards I’d totally get thoses. Magic cards are crazy expensive I like them and think they look cool but I was watching a Destiny streamer thee other day and he said he ordered one box of magic cards and it cost him like 400 dollars and I was just thinking that was nuts for one box but everyone should splurge here and there when they can and that cloud card is really cool so it seems like it was worth it. I’m on like epidsode 130ish of og Naruto watching a couple usually just binge a like 6 or 7 episodes when I get some free time and I since it’s fresh on my mind I know exactly what your talking about the pacing is so hilariously slow because everything gets over explained and honestly I love it because it’s kinda like how I play videos games I find and read all the lore and all the characters dossiers so it’s almost like that but I get to watch a badass fight at the same time. Well hope you have a goodnight Ali have fun drawing.

Yay, congrats! I haven't got cardboard crack in awhile. But I know what you mean. Yea anime take their time back in the day and DBZ was the worst at that (or best lol).

My Favorite kind of stories from you have always been the sad ones. There's some that I'll randomly think about every now and then. Definitely looking forward to Thursdays video! I found it pretty interesting that you said there were elements you thought about taking further in the roleplay. I already think you're super creative, I'd be incredibly curious to hear something where you just completely let your creativity take control and lean into those unfiltered ideas and creative impulses, just let your imagination run wild without any external considerations. Pokemon cards out in the wild? I hope you bought a lottery ticket after that! I think outside of card or game shops, I haven't seen pokemon cards out in the store in forever. Some of my friends go to Ace Hardware for pokemon cards since apparently they sell them there and the scalpers don't really go there. People dislike Murkrow? He's cool! Apparently the FF magic set is the best selling Magic set ever, I think it's also the most expensive. Are you ready for a hot take? I'm warning you though, I hope we'll still be able to be friends after this... Here it goes, from the Final Fantasy games I've played, Cloud is the worst main character :P Great design though and the game he's in is also great. Especially the supporting cast! Lol. I'm glad you got a card you wanted though. That's always a special feeling. I've been super tempted to buy some packs, but they're just so expensive. Old anime, especially Shonen anime was pretty slow back in the day. I refuse to rewatch Naruto or DBZ because I feel like in a way, I'll ruin them for myself. I don't recommend them either if a friend who doesn't really watch anime asks me what he should watch lol In general I try not to recommend something that's too old, not just because of the pacing but because the aspect ratio they were made in is usually different than the screens people use now. Speaking of anime, do you remember the show Shoushimin from last year? I didn't know season 2 was airing right now! From what I've seen, I think I like it more than last season. But it's still not as good as Hyouka.

LBug0

Don't have much to add this time, I'm just hoping they'll continue the Komi Can't Communicate adaptation. Year 2 is where the story gets good.

Hell yeah ramble time! I'm a keep it a stack, never really understood the appeal for horror ASMR, so I'm curious as to why you love it so much. Gonna watch it either way, but I'm curious. But have you ever considered doing a reverse horror ASMR? Like the listener is a human hunter chasing after a monster girl killing her at the end? Don't know how you feel about suggestion, but I've never seen a ASMR roleplay like that. Real life Ali vs Ali! Saw it on Twitter, killer outfit btw! Artist got style both in outfit and designing characters. A dislike of monkeys? Didn't know you followed the teaching of Suguru Geto... 🤨 Final Fantasy magic set? Didn't even know they made cards for that game. Personally, I know almost nothing bout that series, all I know is that Sephiroth is definitely top 10 character designs. The one angel wing and the comically long skinny sword. Not to mention the white hair is just the icing on the cake. And the last bit about old anime being slow paced is honestly facts. Personally, I feel that modern anime has taken a crazy pivot since sometimes they just go to fast for me 😵‍💫 Always love a good ramble, see ya in the next one!

I'm probably gonna buy a box of the final fantasy set if I can find it. Pack opening is my gambling. Also, I don't know if this is the right place, my birthday is in July.

That's pretty neat what you were able to get for your TCG searching. When I was at that anime convention, I struck up a convo with a TCG reseller about how scalpers are impacting his side of the business, and it was interesting: individual cards not so much because scalpers aren't interesting in buying those, but the boxes or pre-packaged sets are impacted because that's what they aim for. While he's finally able to sell at and above msrp with little argument from most customers he also wants to sell at a price fair enough to beat the scalper prices but also discourages scalpers from buying and turn around at a higher price. I guess if Casual Geographic has anything to say about it, monkeys and apes are certainly animals to be weary of. You do raise a fair point about the pacing of old anime compared to current. I guess with the limitations of animation at the time and wanting to stretch things out so as to not catch up with the manga that's why they were paced the way they were. Now, anime isn't as bound to old limitations, and can always just go on hiatus to let the manga breathe if needed before continuing to the next season. Using yourself as reference for your own art, especially if the character matches you can certainly make things easier on you to draw.

Congrats on getting the cards you wanted! And actually finding sets in the wild to begin with! I can't believe we're still having scalper issues with that... And definitely understandable about monkeys! Those things can get nasty!!! But I keep coming across that one video where the guy is giving this one monkey fruits and snacks and what not and it just like so appreciative lol And I'm looking forward to listening to the horror ASMR, less for ASMR purposes, but I love the story aspect! (Still think you should listen to Malevolent and The Magnus Archives podcasts, I think you'd love them ^_^ And if know I commented on Twitter, but the outfit was on point both IRL and in the art! Cute to boot :P

Definitely don't mind when things take a darker turn - adds more variety. :3 And congrats on pulling the Mimikyu! :D As for the monkeys - yeah, I totally get where you're coming from. I always think of "The Murders in the Rue Morgue" by Edgar Allan Poe or that one infamous police phone call... monkeys can be terrifying when they snap. Super smart, but also really unpredictable and strong - not something I'd want to deal with in person. 😅 And nice pull on those FF boosters as well! Those displays are going for absolute madness right now. I would love to open some too, but yeah... the prices would really hurt my wallet... D: I ended up settling for the FF14 Commander deck - there was no way I was passing up a deck with Y'shtola and G'raha Tia in it. <3 The pacing in older anime really was wild. Death Note will always be iconic, but I saw that video where they cut out the inner monologues, and it's hilarious - just staring each other down in dead silence for minutes. xD And don't even get me started on Dragon Ball... "Just five more minutes!" - cue 4 episodes of screaming, flashbacks, and charging. The stuff they managed to cram into those "five minutes" was truly something else. xD But honestly? I wouldn't trade those shows or that era for anything. They were just peak. :>

Sorry I'm so late to this! It takes forever to get here from the moon these days :( Thank you for the birthday wish! I hear lunarians do birthdays and anniversaries all the time. It's a weird concept, but I like to watch the excitement. I'm glad you were finally able to find some cards! We don't have any stores that sell cards...or really any stores at all, but you make them sound very exciting! I did recently find some new rock friends, they don't talk much, but I enjoy the company. Thank you again for the birthday wish :D I will be listening to a nice Alichu audio while hanging out on the moon!

Lentilp

I've been meaning to say thank you for the Birthday wishes for weeks now but life suddenly got so busy so quickly 😫. My user name is actually from way back when my brother and I first created a PSN account on the ol PlayStation 3. We ended up misspelling LegendarySardine as LegedarySardine and so when I created my own steam name many years later, I kept of the tradition of misspelled fish appellations and became LendaryTilapia aka Lentilp. So actually not based on lentils (although they are delicious).
