Drawing Challenge: April 2024 (Patreon)

Is this easier than last month's challenge?! There's no horse this time...but there is A LOT going on in the anatomy!

This reference comes from one of Studio Grafit's FREE packs. If you haven't already downloaded these packs, what are you waiting for?! There's a mix of models, clothing and poses in the free packs which are great reference for gesture drawing and anatomy study.

The challenge with this month's reference it to gesture this pose in less that 5 minutes.

I'm being generous because there is a lot of anatomy happening.

Some things to think about:

• What is your story?

• What anatomy is imporant to keep?

• What anatomy can you simplify?

• Where is the weight on this pose?

• Think about the model's interaction with the chair.

• Do you need to manipulate the pose in any places for clarity?
