Jumping off from where we left off on our last realtime video when we were focused on short poses (30 seconds and 1 minutes), this week I'm going into the difference between 1 minute, 2 minute and 3 minute gestures.

The difference between these 3 timings will be unique to all of us, the important this is that we do notice the difference and be mindful of the adaptations we may need to make as we progress throughout a life drawing session.

----------

-----------

Check out the video to hear the differences that I notice for my own practice and see if they are similar to yours.

It might be helpful to make some notes like I did above, about what observations you make about your own 1, 2, 3 minute gestures. This will help you shift your mind set and your drawing goals as you spend time with the model.

This week's model was Charlotte from Dynamic Muse. Please support them and sign up to their platform if you have the means.

Stay tuned this week for a new Model Vote and a new Draw-along Challenge!

The hour glass torso stretch! So happy you touched on this because this issue always leads me to a really muddy confused drawing haha another super helpful gesture practice, thanks Gillian <3
