This month, we're trying something a little different, and I couldn't be more excited to paint alongside you!

Instead of our daily art prompts, we'll be slowing down and diving deeper into one of the most important (and magical!) subjects in painting—light.

🎨 Master Study MondaysEach Monday, we'll study a masterpiece from a famous artist and recreate it using watercolor or gouache. Master studies are one of the best ways to train your eye to notice how great artists use light, color, edges, and values to create beautiful, glowing effects. You'll begin to see light the way the masters saw it!

🖌️ Weekly Live Paint-Along (Paid Members)After studying the master painting, we'll put those lessons into practice during our weekly live painting session. I'll provide everything you need:✨ A reference photo✨ A traceable outline drawing✨ Suggested paint colors✨ Tips to help with the painting process

🌟 Friday Mini ChallengesTo wrap up each week, everyone will receive a fun weekend mini challenge designed to reinforce the week's lesson and encourage you to experiment on your own.

My hope is that by the end of July, you'll not only have several beautiful paintings, but you'll also have a much better understanding of how light affects color, creates atmosphere, and brings a painting to life.

Whether you're just beginning your watercolor or gouache journey or you've been painting for years, I think you're going to discover some wonderful "aha!" moments this month.

So gather your brushes, your favorite paints, and your curiosity. Let's learn from the masters and fill July with beautiful light and glowing color!

I can't wait to get started! 💛
