Hey friends! I'm so excited to share our November through December theme: Handmade Holidays: Whimsy and Wonder! βœ¨πŸŽ„

From now until Christmas, we'll be exploring all kinds of creative ways to make the holiday season extra special. Think handmade ornaments, heartfelt cards, simple gifts, seasonal paintings, and plenty of other projects sprinkled with whimsy and wonder!

We'll begin November by slowing down to explore gratitude, giving thanks, and the warmth of gathering with family and friends. Then, as the weeks roll along, we'll ease into Christmas and seasonal projects filled with cozy creativity and handmade holiday cheer.

If you've been following me for a while, you already know that I love to break out the craft supplies this time of year! So, alongside our regular painting projects, expect a few fun and creative craft adventures, too.

I have so many ideas swirling around for this theme! We might try embossed metal ornaments, air-dry clay gifts and ornaments, tunnel cards, pop-up cards, andβ€”if we're feeling especially braveβ€”maybe even some easy air-dry clay sculptures!

There are simply too many fun ideas to squeeze into one month, so we're stretching this theme across November and December and giving ourselves plenty of time to create, experiment, and enjoy the magic of making things by hand.

I'd love to hear from you, too! What holiday projects or creative ideas would you like to try? Drop your suggestions in the commentsβ€”I’m always open to new ideas and would love to make this a season filled with projects you're excited about!

I can't wait to dive into Handmade Holidays: Whimsy and Wonder with you! Let's make this holiday season a little more creative, cozy, and magicalβ€”one handmade project at a time. πŸ’•βœ¨

Thank you! I’m excited too! I am feeling better, my throat doesn’t hurt as much but now my nose is runny 😞 I think I should be turning the corner. ❀️

Everything sounds wonderful but the pop-up cards would be awesome! I buy all my grandchildren Christmas-themed pop-up books every year and the cards would be a perfect addition to this tradition. I’ve been doing this for over 30 years and they are displayed during the holidays. The rest of the year they are stored away making it a special treat for this grandma to read with all the grandchildren. Even the adult kids.

One of my very first books was a pop-up book about Disney Land. I made my older sister read that book to me over and over. I kept it until it literally fell apart. I will be sure to get some pop-up cards into the projects!
