Tierlist Explanation: Tier S & SSS (Patreon)

I explain why every hero in Tier S & SSS belong in those tiers on the tierlist. Feel free to ask any additional questions by commenting on this post!

Hi Fan a quick question , i am in silver and i would like to ask what i do wrong, if i heal i play lili. If i go to heal build i feel like I just watching how I will lose. I have no wave clear and no big impact other than trying to save my great team mates. What i mean by that i try to heal out of my mind i have 0 or 1 death and lose . If i go to damage talent , i will be top dmg , but i feel like it is just "fake " damage . Also get reported and flamed instant for not healing enough :D , even if our azmo had like 10 death. I am sure u can be gm with anything , but for me i feel like playing the heal role is just a big coing flip. Could you please advise ?

Healing role in low elo is probably the hardest role to win with, you can always try the other roles for a bit of an easier time. If you want to heal, you could try something like rehgar. If healing is not enough, then likely you need to do more for your team, something like a rehgar can not only heal and do damage, but also do camps and soak if needed which is the two things that lili cannot do and might be why your teams are losing even with lots of healing.

I've never actually bothered you to explain why you've got certain Heroes on the S tier. This was a really really great video.

Cassia does insane damage! You can get four or five balls bouncing on Stitches if he’s collected enough globes :)

Hi Fan, thanks for great guides! Are there some changes in your S tierlist because of recent nerfs/ buffs? Did some heroes dropped/promote to it recently? Thanks in advance!

I think I lowered Sylv to Tier A because of a bugfix that lowered her damage output around 10%, but no other changes that I can think of

Hi there, it seems from your explanation that Greymane could be an S Tier as well. Is it from lack of self-sustain, or some other reason that is in Tier A?

Greymane's is a jack of all trades, good at everything but not really OP at anything except maybe %damage and doing mercs. I think his biggest weakness is his single target nature, in a team fight his damage output is limited because he can mostly only damage 1 target at a time so he can do solid damage but almost every other DPS in Tier S can do more than him, usually because they can hit more than 1 target with something.

Why is Fenix tier B instead of S or A? With Arsenal Synergy, doesn't he also have enough damage output to be the only damage dealer, and he has good PvE? Also, how does Cassia output a lot of damage? With Charged Strikes?

With Fenix, you could say a well played Fenix can be A tier as well, a lot of these heroes can kinda fit into/ in between two tiers so there is some variance. He does do a ton of damage but unlike most of the others, the problem with Fenix is his damage is all very range limited, he gets outranged by most 6+ranged heroes and also has a huge hitbox and a delay on his interruptible escape, these are problems that can be exploited very easily by skilled players which is why he is not S tier. As for Cassia, just look at some of my Cassia videos on Youtube, both AA build and Q build output a ton of damage just by playing the hero naturally and landing skills.

Yep, that's the plan will cover every hero but there's a ton so 1 or 2 tiers at a time!

This is great because it makes you understand the list itself and why these heroes are the best. It helps because just picking them because they are the best does nothing if you can't exploit their qualities and how can you exploit the problems of those that are not the best. Great video, looking forward to the next ones :)

Hi Fan, loving the guides so far the group I've been playing with has got some wins off some the simple pointers in the map strats so far! Question about mephisto being tier S, as the only true mage in there what makes him so much better since most every hero has some sort of spellshield?

Glad to hear that! Mephisto just has literally no cooldowns when played extremely well so the damage is almost limitless, take a look at some of my Mephisto games on YT. Kinda almost cheating type of hero when you can play him to that level.

Hey, id love to play Mephisto more often but unfortunately i always think that he doesnt bring good waveclear like ming. So the rest of the team has to cover waveclear right? And recommended maps for Mephisto?

Hey like I said during the stream, yeah it is much better to run Mephisto if your team already has some waveclear and doesn't need a full waveclear mage, that is correct. Maps where he is good are generally maps where you can 4v4 a lot(every 2 lane map, tomb, dragon shire) and maps where people are clumped a lot(shrines). Honestly though he can be played on any map as he is very strong, as long as the waveclear isnt too big of a problem.
