This has got to be one of the most hilarious yet adorable animated films I have seen! I loved the relationship between the two sisters and how real it feels. Enjoy :)

Lily

Yes Oscar 😭😭 I’ve just gone through a horrible breakup and this will get me through the night <3

Rhetorical Thrill

Such a sweet movie. I love how David is just a giant green flag - how many guys in their early 20s would not only be unafraid of dating a girl who is basically a mother to a young child, but embracing that child and genuinely want to be a family with them?

How can I still cry watching this movie?! I know it by heart but everytime I hear lilo say that she always remember people that leave....💔 I love your react, please keep watching animated movie 😍

bubbles retiered from MIB with memories intact.

My excitement is though the roof!! This is my absolute favorite Disney animated movie! The reason lilo makes sandwiches for pudge the fish is because she believes that the fish controls the weather. She forgot to feed it one day and that night it rained and that’s the day her parents got into the car accident and died. So she believes it’s her fault the accident happened and they died. This is why she got so angry at Meryl. The adults knew why she acted that way it’s why they gave each other that sad look they understood. Lilo means Lost and stitch means put back together 626 experiments were made so stitch has 625 “cousins” as they say in the tv show. The show explores the other experiments

Theres a theory that lilos parents worked with bubbles before they passed so hes the one who makes sure lilo and nani are okay, hes former cia so it would make sense if he was close with their parents and they asked him to make sure the kids are fine. Nani is the best big sister in the disney world, and david is the best man, he waited for nani, never gave up on her and was there for her through everything, nani gave up her surfing life to take care of lilo. Its also known that lilo makes a penut butter sandwhich for pudge the fish because the one time she didnt her parents got into their car accident in the storm, so lilo believes the fish controls the weather. I love this movie so much.

So once a week Lilo feeds a sandwich to a fish that she believes controls the weather. Much later in the film we learn that Lilo’s parents died in a car crash during a rainstorm that made the roads slick.🥺

Uhh, can't wait to watch this tonight! In the mean time, I have a movie recommendation: the last five years. It is the movie version of a musical with the same name. The story focusses on the course of a romantic relationship and really goes deep into the personalities of both, but uses non-linear storytelling and almost exclusively songs. Very atypical structure for a movie, but incredibly well done and in my opinion that makes it such an interesting movie and also the actors are phenomenal! I would love to see your reaction to it, especially how you interpret the characters and their flaws.

12:26 can we take a moment to appreciate that Oscar is making the same face as the dance teacher XD

Heather Geer

“Me when I step on a Lego” 😂

Ok, I know it’s just a movie and I’m not supposed to think too hard about this, but I have a few issues with the dog shelter scene. 1) Never keep multiple adult dogs in the same kennel unless they’re from the same household. 2) Don’t send a little kid to visit the dogs unsupervised. What if the dogs hadn’t all been hiding and she opened a kennel door or stuck her hand in and got hurt? 3) Why would you put a dog you thought was dead in a kennel with a bunch of living dogs? This is the biggest head scratcher for me. 4) Don’t use a spray bottle to try and train a dog. I know Stitch isn’t a dog, but the shelter lady didn’t know that.

I don't remember this one too well. I remember I thought it was good but never one of my fav. Guess I'll rediscover it along with you.

KaijinGarou

Good on you for liking mint ice cream, Oscar. You keep proving why you're a great reactor. This movie seems to hate it, though 🤣

KaijinGarou

Oh God, Lilo straight-up punched that girl in the face! I did not remember that! 🤣

KaijinGarou

Lilo: "Please, send me an angel to be my friend" God: "We ran out of angels. It's a demon OK? He can still be your friend"

Jenny D

You referring to Jumba and Pleakley as the uncles is funny, because in the later films and TV show Jumba’s cover is that he’s their uncle, but Pleakley actually goes by Aunt Pleakley, and prefers dressing as a woman. Jumba and Pleakley pretend to be a married couple, and Jumba is even listed as Pleakley’s husband on the Disney wiki.

KaijinGarou

Pretty sure Lilo named him Stitch after her doll that's all stitched up.

This is one of my favorite movies and I just noticed 14:40 that girl was saying if you have rabies the dog catcher is gunna have to cut your h...then she gets cut off, I think Disney is making a morbid joke 😂 because the only way to test for rabies is from brain tissue collected post-mortem.. I feel like she was gunna say cut your head off 😭

Jennifer

Totally random request, but I'd love to see your reaction to the mini series Over the Garden Wall. It's one of my absolute favorites, and not long at all

Katelyn Halt

I love Lelo! She is such peak representation for all the weird girls like me growing up. Her hobby is taking photos of fat people because she thinks they're beautiful ❤️

You totally need to watch Brother Bear next, it highlights brotherly relationships and is very underrated

Tingeling

I love the water colour backgrounds in this movie; I really wish Disney hadn’t given up on the non-cgi stuff. Lilo: Elvis was a model citizen. Me: Aside from being a child predator. Among other things. Stitch’s voice is actually provided by Chris Sanders, one of the writers and directors of the film. He still does the voice in various projects to this day, though I think they have an alternate voice actor as well. Watching the beginning of this movie just makes me think of ”Birth by Sleep”. When Stitch blasts off I can just hear him screaming Ven’s name. The concept of the wayfinders works really well with the concept of ohana. I really need to play that game again. The song Nani sings to Lilo is ”Aloha ’Oe”, which translates to ”farewell to thee”. It was written by the last queen of Hawaii, and holds a lot of significance both culturally and subtextually in the film.

Dark Nebula

I need you to watch Lilo and Stitch 2 now xD
