This was such an intriguing and mind blowing film!! I absolutely loved learning how everything works in dreams and following the team on this kind of 'reverse-heist' they're trying to pull off. It has been a while since I've watched a movie this creative. Enjoy :)

Excellent choice! One of Christopher Nolan's greatest works. You should definitely check out his other films as well!

Omg yes! Christopher Nolan is my favorite director of all time! Can't wait to see you react to this! I always recommend the movie Memento from him, it's my favorite movie ever

"I'm finding it a bit hard to keep up, if I'm being honest" Don't worry - this is one of the most information heavy films I've ever seen which requires two or three watches minimum just to get a good once-over of everything. But there's still plenty to appreciate beyond that, I've probably watched it 10 times and I still really enjoy it. Like you said it does become more enjoyable once you understand everything you're seeing without trying to understand what's being explained to you at the same time.

Suggest for the next movie. Interstellar

Great choice on this. I've only seen it a few time. The creative and music in this movie is amazing

Yes! I love this movie so much, even though I'm not usually one for action scenes. The concepts are just so intricate and interesting and watching you discover it all was so much fun! I'm always a little confused though, whenever you call yourself not smart. Your commentary is always so insightful and intelligent.

I just loved this movie when I first saw it but it was also sooo dificult to keep up

Jim Schmitz

This'll be interesting. How's your brain?

macey

loved the reaction Oscar! quick question, will u be posting ur stranger things reaction weekly?

This was one of those films I'll never forget seeing in theaters. When it cut to black at the end with the top spinning, I can still hear every single person in that theater collectively gasp. It was amazing.

Patrick Fisher

Not sure if anyone else said this, but Christopher Nolan did confirm that the top stops spinning. He is in the real world when he meets his kids at the end of the movie. I’m glad you liked it, this was always one of my favorites

Jim Schmitz

Ah the mighty mind of Oscar! This was the first time I discovered a little easter egg Nolan slipped in. The song they play to revive the team, La Vie En Rose, is the title song of the film Marion Cotillard (Mal) won her Oscar for. Speaking of Oscars, you did marvelously.

Geothro

This is definitely one of those movies you have to watch a few times to understand it lol

Juley

I’ve seen this film a dozen times and I always catch something new. The movie is so masterful in every little detail!

Daniideee

One of my favorite movies for sure, I am glad you enjoy it.

caedi

Oh wow, this is one of my favourite movies. I remember going to the cinema about 10 times when it first came out, trying to understand what was going on! Super impressed at how much you noticed on your first watch! Honestly, this film would be fun to rewatch with you too, I swear it gets better every time because you notice so many new things.

Part of the reason why this movie is so well thought out is that Nolan had been writing this story for 10 years! Crazy to think about

2026-09-09 13:00 One of the aspects of this movie that I think is so cool is that it's not just a form of heist movie, it's also an allegory for film making. Saito is the studio behind the project, Arthur is the producer. Cobb is the director, leading the team. Eams is (quite obviously) the actor, Ariadne the production designer (and possibly the screen writer?). Yusuf is the SFX engineer and Fischer the audience. On a sadder note, Pete Postlethwaite who plays Fischer Sr was dying of cancer when the movie was being produced. Allegedly this wasn't public knowledge, but he told Cillian Murphy during their scene at the end, and also revealed that he had reached the terminal stage. This made Murphy cry and Nolan used those shots of Murphy in the film. One Nolan film you really should watch if you haven't before is "Memento". In true Nolan fashion, the way he tells the story elevates it to a whole other level. And in the spirit of heist movies, if you haven't seen "the Usual Suspects" then I wholeheartedly recommend it. It's not a Nolan film, but it's fantastic. Finally... Is it alright to offer a bit of constructive feedback? The audio level between your reaction and the movie/show you're reacting too is very different (at least on my devices). If I keep the volume high enough to be able to hear the dialogue, your commentary is loud (as in, "yikes I hope I didn't wake the neighbors"-loud). If I have your commentary at a good volume I can barely hear the dialogue of what you're reacting to. Perhaps there's no way to change that, but if it is at all possible to bring the audio levels a bit closer to each other that would be much appreciated. Thanks for another great reaction. Looking forward to more "Stranger Things"!

Rhetorical Thrill

I also fully believe the top was about to fall, and he was in the real world. Another great Nolan film is The Prestige, I'd love to see you do that one

I loved this movie. I had to initially watch it twice as a teen when it came out because it was so complex my brain didn't grasp it. But it gets better in rewatch.
