Well that was frightening. I really enjoyed exploring this post-apocalyptic world and what inspired so many films. What was even scarier than the infected though was seeing the worst of humanity come out. Enjoy :)

Hey Oscar OMG you totally should react to music videos. Especially since you have a musical background. Listen to Basshunter Welcome to Rainbow ( the ultimate trance experience) when the beat drops hard at the 55 second mark its so cool sounding. This song really is the ultimate trance experience and you'll feel high as f**k listening to this song. The beat is dope as F**k too. There is no actual music video for this song. But you can still listen to the audio. It's only about 5 minutes long. Basshunter is a Swedish guy that produced a lot of trance hits. Also watch Travis Scott's (American rapper) music videos such as sicko mode and highest in the room and FE!N. The beats on these rap songs are dope as f**k. Also watch react to the movie Orphan starring Isabelle Fuhrman and Vera Farmiga (2009) they advertised it pretty heavily in 2009 here in North America. So I'm not sure if you have heard of this movie before Oscar where you are in Sydney. Hopefully you haven't seen this movie yet so you can watch/react to it here. It's a horror movie but it's a really good one. Also thanks for watching My Girl wasn't that such a great movie I mean REALLY sad of course and brutal but a great movie all around. I had no idea it was going to be that good. I never saw it before in its entirely until you posted it here. Wow what a fantastic movie thanks for that Oscar

The Outlaw Cad Bane

I just watched 28 years later last Saturday. It was the first horror movie I saw in theaters and is now one of my favorite zombie movies. Can't wait to watch the new trilogy, and I hope that you'll enjoy the now expanding journey that is the 28 days franchise.

Maribel Gonzalez

Hi Oscar, just letting you know, the "sequel" is 28 weeks later, although thecnically speaking it's more like "during, or before the evacuation?

The Outlaw Cad Bane

Also fun fact I forgot to mention. Around the time this was released the original Walking Dead comic had been written and was getting drawn. And the first issue essentially had the same opening to 28 days with the main character waking up in a hospital after the world has already gone to hell. And here's the best part. It wasn't a rip-off. 28 days wouldn't release in the US until June 2003, meanwhile the first issue of the walking dead had been published in February that same year. So, imagine Robert Kirkman and Tony Moore going into a theater realizing that they accidentally did the same opening as the movie they were watching.

Yes! This is my favorite zombie/infected movie. The tension, direction and score is just superb. Not to mention the suspense in that mansion scene. Love the use of the shaky camera on the PoV of the infected. Glad to hear you enjoyed it! 😄👍

Liam

You should watch IT (1990 ) then the newer IT films

Mirco Tonas

You really should watch Beautiful Boy (2018). It's based on a heartbreaking true story.

Maisie

Omg if I'd had a hundred guesses of what you'd watch next, this still wouldn't have been on the list. Good for you for branching out.

Delfina Sol

If we are on this topic then one of the best kind of zombie, chaos and crisis creations is series "Happiness" (it's korean drama from 2021). I really recommend it :D, I love it whole-heartedly

Ali D

If you found Danny Boyle’s directing interesting, you should check out a movie called The Beach (2000). It’s got a young Leo DiCaprio, and the soundtrack was everywhere that year.

Giselle4991

Just fyi, there's a 28 WEEKS Later that came out after this one. Definitely has one of the most memorable openings in horror. And 28 Years later is the third installment.

Tbh with the army guys and the whole 'procreation vs lust' thing, it really shouldn't matter *why* they wanted to do that. The fact of the matter is, Selena didn't want to, and Hannah was a literal child. The guys' reasoning literally doesn't matter even the tiniest bit. What they were going to do to them was SA. That's not up for debate.

Katelyn Heaslet

It’d be cool to see you react to the RWBY series! You should also totally watch the conjuring universe! The order I recommend watching to prevent being spoiled on things is: The Conjuring, Annabelle, The Conjuring 2, Annabelle: Creation, The Nun, The Curse of La Llorona, Annabelle Comes Home, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, and The Nun 2.

DianaMegami

This was such a cool movie, been so long since I've seen it. Would you by any chance also watch The Conjuring movies?

Maike_Staytiny

Has the walking dead kind of taken inspiration by the scene in the hospital cuz it's literally the same scene or was the walking dead first?

Maike_Staytiny

I have a few movie recommendations I'd really think you could enjoy🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️ 1. Disney's dinosaur (one of if not the first full cgi movie disney made) 2. The conjuring movies, my absolute favourite when it comes to horror movies And 3. K-pop demon hunters (PLEASSSEEEEEE🙏🏼😭)

Girls Always

I would love if you would react to the Conjuring Franchise! It's 3 Conjuring movies, 3 Annabelle movies, 2 The Nun movies, 1 The Curse of La Llorona, and there's a fourth Conjuring movie coming later this year which will also be the final installment in the franchise. Please watch them!

Brian Nix

I wonder if anyone thought this was a sequel to "28 Days"

KJ

Try the movie Warm Bodies. It's a humourous look at zombies. Same with the movie Shaun of the Dead.
