Hey patrons! We're going back to our pals the Big Bads for a spell, and we're delighted to introduce you to this month's friend-shaped monstrosity.

Meet Yku the Unmaker - The Wish That Walks.

Velveteen fur, fragile wings, and the gaudy palette of a child’s playroom hardly make for an imposing sight, but they’re the last things many would-be heroes ever see. 

None now remember Iblin the Indefatigable, the Glil Protectorate, or the Martyred Knights of Saint Marcella—household names until they were erased from history by Yku the Unmaker. 💥

Yku was originally created to be a perfect friend. It speaks all languages and has an uncanny ability to read other creatures’ emotions. In its new form, Yku uses these talents to inflict pain, turning the feelings of its opponents against them.

Though twisted, Yku still has the outlook, voice, and vocabulary of a child. It mispronounces words and delights in repetition and rhyme.

As an imaginary friend brought to life, Yku still has an instinctual need for playtime, but its idea of “fun and games” is no fun for anyone else. 😬

Yku is prone to tantrums and lashes out when provoked or bored. Its motivations shift from moment to moment, but a current of cruelty and pain always lies beneath the surface of its actions.
