Furry / anthro in games (Open chat)
That makes more sense, knowing that’s the case. I’m so used to people passing around links all the time to each other in Discord about this kind of stuff that it feels impossible to miss, to me.
Maybe having your own Discord server where people can share links like that will make it easier for you to get a finger on the pulse of this kind of stuff, too.
RIGHT! Video games! Sorry, I might not have been fully awake when I posted that 😅 I’ll have to think a little bit for more nostalgic/obscure video game anthros, but in terms of recent, there’s always the dragons from Spyro Reignited Trilogy; those are popular. The cast of Wildblue Skies, namely Chuck; you’d probably like him. I should have some more tomorrow!

The character looks cute. I wasn’t familiar with the game, but I saw gameplay footage of the fight against that character and the gameplay looks interesting. I probably would have played it back in the day, but after the Sega Genesis I stopped having consoles and switched entirely to PC gaming. xP
Oh right, Spyro. I wanted to do some fan art of him once, but the ones I did weren’t very popular (compared to my own drawings). Even so, I like him and I’ll keep him in mind. I’ve actually played the game a bit, and it’s not bad, but it didn’t completely hook me.
And about Wildblue Skies, I’ll be checking it out! I remember seeing its trailer a few months ago, but I forgot to follow it and it completely slipped my mind. 😅

Oooh is this the one where Krystal gets trapped in that Crystal pretty much? The GameCube title, right? Goshhh I’m starting to feel sooo old hahah! (34) That was my first and only Star Fox title, like ever! But I did really enjoy it, even though I was pretty young at the time when we got it. I was more focused on Fire Emblem PoR hahah! With Muarim and Tormod’s and Ranulf. Lmao!!! And of course Tales of Symphonia. Man there were some amazing GC titles!

Ooh ooooh what about Muarim and Tormod’s relationship from Fire Emblem PoR?! Or even Ranulf and Ike?! They weren’t fully anthropomorphic but they did have the ears and tail, plus maybe some extra hair when in “human” form I thiiink, before transforming into their beast forms.
They actually had a lot of sexy anthros, like the bird and dragon people as well!!! I personally was a huge fan of Tibarn, Giffca, Caenghis, Reyson, and Mordecai. Anthro-wise that is.
I see. I generally prefer completely anthropomorphic characters, or at most those with more animalistic heads.
Regarding the game, I honestly wasn’t familiar with it. Since the last consoles I played were the NES and the Genesis (or a little bit of the PS1), those games have slipped my mind, especially if they’re Nintendo exclusives, because they never come to PC, which is where I’ve been playing ever since.
Ohhhh yeah for sure! But noww you’re able to play them right here on your pc as well! :D Hahah! With dolphin or some other emu. But I totally agree on the more animalistic heads too! I’m sure there are plenty out there that I’ve played and love, I just can’t remember any off the top of my head. In my head I keep thinking of anthros from tv shows or anime and movies hahah!
Oh! Heyyy have you seen Forge’s art? I think his Patreon used to be ezforge? Or zeforge, but he did the Lygore and The Desmoterion comics, also the Lion King/Jungle book comics with Sheirkhan(sp?), Scar, and Simba, with Sheirkhan being his uncle and also wanting to fck Simba lol, but I wanted to ask if that’s the sort of anthro you like the best?!? In my head that’s the most animalistic an anthro could look like and still be hott, to me that is. Lol!
I guess they’re fine. For me, as long as they don’t have human faces, like noses and all that, it’s OK.
I picked up on a few of these PS2 era Shining games. It was neat that furries/beast race is baked into the lore.
Is there a reason you only ask about games with furry characters and not anime/cartoons?
As for answering your question. Legend of Kay. Its a german developed game about an cat in a an asia like setting only inhabitatet by animals.
What I like most are the comic like cutscenes to keep the story rolling.
Well, simply because I’ve already done quite a bit of anime/cartoon fan art and wanted to try game characters. Since the number of characters in anime and cartoons is overwhelmingly greater than that of video game characters, I was afraid they would be indirectly excluded.
If you want to see cartoon fan art, you can check out my gallery from last year, where I covered all 31 days of Inktober with cartoon fan art. Anyway, I’ve always done fan art, so if you browse my gallery, you’ll find something, like fan art of Zootopia, Disney characters, Digimon, etc.
And about the game you mentioned, I’ll be checking it out; it looks interesting. I honestly didn’t know about it, as I’ve already mentioned to others: my last consoles were the NES and Genesis (and maybe a year with the PS1), but then I made the definitive switch to PC gaming, so almost all the console-exclusive games that came after the PS1 were unknown to me.
I would like to see Brutal Dog. It’s not like we’re standing a meter away so we can tell you in person.😜
