Strong start to Season 6! Episode 1 had me cracking up, and Episode 2 bringing things back to Rook's homeworld was a nice callback. Loving the continuity but now I’m ready to see what this season’s main story will be.

First of all, please please I beg you brother, whatever recommendation wins, do NOT watch ben 10 reboot. Second, I'll go with generator rex, I've never seen a single episode of it, and it'll be enjoyable to watch it with you!!

I'm glad you're more receptive to the comedy aspect of Omniverse some other fans. The Evil Rooters arc is similar to Season 3 of the OG series. In that the main plot doesn't start until about midway through and the majority of the episodes are filler. That said, I think you'll enjoy it once you see what it is. I'll be honest, I completely forgot Rook had a girlfriend back home. Out of all the Ravanaganders, she is the most forgettable to me. Also, I forgot to mention this earlier. "Animo Crackers" was Animo's final appearance in Omniverse.

After Omniverse I would love for you to check out some of the reboot, you don't have to watch it all especially since it might not get that many views from a performance perspective, but you can watch only the plot/character relevant episodes, specials and movie, you can finish it quite quickly if you do so. Otherwise you said before you wanted to check out some fan content of series or something like that, after you finish Omniverse you can watch a fan made motion comic on YT called 5YL (5 years later) which is a crossover series between Ben 10 and Danny Phantom, it has a very high production quality, even having a VA from the Ben 10 series. It also has a spin off called "And Beyond" exploring alien worlds in Ben 10. Definitely worth checking out.

The main arc will start after the next two episodes, I believe (similar to the main arc of OS season 3, as someone else said). Do not watch the reboot, bro. Don’t desecrate Ben’s image. 😭

Impersonating a cop is a crime in many places bens a plumber so it should be ilegal While the tv show bit is legal snd fine claiming to be real and more than n actor is a crime

Watching Danny Phantom does give you some extra context but it's not neccessary, the motion comic gives you a TLDR kinda like Gen Rex did and explains concepts from Danny's universe fairly well, I have read the comic before watching Danny Phantom and didn't have any trouble understanding the plot and story. I don't have a guide for the reboot story episodes but I can make one.

Here's my two scents. Yes, watching Danny Phantom first would help with catching all of the references within the crossover. And if you chose to react to it before 5YL, I don't think anyone would complain, because you probably would enjoy it and its only 53 episodes long. However, 5YL was specifically written so that if you haven't already seen one or both of the series you can still enjoy it. Plus, Episode 1 starts with a short prologue that tells you everything you need to know about Danny Phantom for the purpose of the story. Also plus, I think a lot of people, myself included, would really enjoy seeing you go into the crossover half blind, like you did with the Generator Rex and Secret Saturdays crossovers. Slight caveat. Both the first episode of '5YL' and the third episode of 'And Beyond' do spoil the ending of Danny Phantom. But the same can be said for the Secret Saturdays crossover episode, because the whole Argost being a Yeti thing wasn't revealed until the second to last episode. So, that's my take on it. Remember, you don't have to decide anything until you finish Omniverse.

If it makes you feel any better, they got Dwight Schultz, Animo's VA in OG through Omniverse, to reprise his role in the reboot. Which basically means he was irreplaceable for the role.

Is he really a plumber, though? I know he is, but in S6E5, Max implied Ben isn't a plumber, so he could go warn Kevin about Servantis.
