I saw a couple of episodes of this series back when I was younger and sometimes had it on in the background, so I remember more than I expected as you saw in this video. But now I can’t wait to fully experience the series from start to finish.

Lol haeyp was just an acronym for the supposed academy. Hive Academy for Extraordinary Young People or HAEYP for short

I see. I dont remember that, so I doubt I saw that part back in the day. As you can tell from the video, I really only saw this series in passing and I have a feeling it was only S1.

Yeah the lady said it quickly. It was the first line of the episode lol. She said the full acronym and then they just kept saying haeyp from then on

I love how into this you are already. In the comics, Gizmo, Jinx and Mammoth were part of a team called the Fearsome Five, who regularly fought the Titans. The other two members, who unfortunately do not appear in this series, were team leader Psimon (a powerful telepath and telekinetic) and Mammoth's sister Shimmer (who basically had Full Metal Alchemist powers). The theme song, and several other songs in the OST, was performed by the Japanese pop rock band Puffy Ami Yumi. Most of the time the intro is in English, but several episodes have the intro sung in Japanese. And, no, I don't remember which specific episodes. Also, the band Puffy Ami Yumi had an animated series on Cartoon Network called 'Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi'. Which was okay but not great. Lastly, since you asked, they never say it in the show. But the Titans live in Jump City, which is on the West Coast, presumably in California. While Gotham and Metropolis are on the East Coast.

I think I remember that show. I remember they didn't live action opening or something for Teen Titans? Idk exactly tho. I guess I'm so into it because this is technically from my generation so I'll vibe with it more. I also like DC and Marvel stuff. I'm happy people are vibing with this first reaction.

Growing up with shows like this, I didn’t realize how good I had it until much later on. You’re in for a treat with this because the overarching stories and episodic stories are great. Also you can hear the Japanese version as early as episodes 6, 8, and 10
