Fantastic start to Generator Rex! I’m really liking Rex’s attitude and the storylines already being set up. Van Kleiss is an absolute badass too, and I can’t wait to see where things go from here.

Yes, every living thing on the entire planet is infected with nanites, from the largest whales, elephants, bears, to people, dogs, cats, down to the smallest individual insects, fish, worms, etc. Plants, fungi, and all like them are also included, every tree, flower, blade of grass. Any and every single life form on the planet can have its nanites go off at any moment. Billions of ticking time bombs literally everywhere. The nanites that go off wrong act like a cancer, mutating the body grotesquely, whereas we see Rex’s nanites effectively disarm and cure said “cancer”. As he said, he can’t necessarily remove the nanites from a person, but his nanites can disable the defective ones. Van Kleiss is easily a top five CN villain for me, he’s so cool and badass. He’s genuinely OP, and just one of many amazing antagonists in this series, but definitely the big bad. Think prime OS Vilgax.

You are in for a treat with this show! Knowing how you love a good overarching plot, you'll have a lot of fun with this. Van Kleiss is an awesome villian with a sick theme.

Gen Rex is more like Marvel type of a hero, with all that loud metal music and action, you feel like it's Spiderman.. Unlike Ben on the other hand, where it used to have kind of a Batman vibe, with the darkness and the orchestrated music, and the feeling of drama dominating the feeling of action, until Omniverse showed up and shifted Ben 10 towards action. (Never watched a single episode of Rex, but the vibes speak for themselves ✨️)

As much as I love Ben Tennyson I Do enjoy Rex more since Rexs cockyness is alot more different than Ben's along with the fact Rex deals with actual hardships such as amnesia and being made into a living weapon Ben's hardships really just come from the villains he fights. When you compare the two Ben has had a very easy and privileged life. Also Ben's character has always been inconsistent while I feel Rexs character is always consistent.

Man, this episode is even cooler than I remembered. Van Kleiss is such a cool villain, dude. You are in for a wild ride.

Anriku

I was pleasantly surprised with this premiere for sure. That dude is a menace. Can't wait to see more of him.

Anriku

I agree. It's a different vibe. I'm digging it.

Anriku

Digging it so far. Are you enjoying it?

Anriku

Can't wait bro. That dude is a menace.

Anriku

Thats absolutely wild to think about and gives the writers so many possibilities to work with. Ah, so he is just neutralizing the glitchy ones. Got it. Where Van is actually absorbing the nanites. I get the vamp vibe now. He's a nanite vampire. So sick.

yeah white knight is voiced by J. K. Simmons, they also have a few other big names in this series with, van kliess voiced by troy baker, bobo voiced by John DiMaggio and dr. holiday being voiced by Grey DeLisle who also voices azula in atla, and lots more down the line

Zak Webb

this series does the same thing as omniverse where every episode builds or adds to the world even in episodic episodes

Alexei Azizov

Most certainly!! I voted for Rex, and I'm exited for the upcoming episodes!!

Anriku

Thats how it should be handled, imo. Looks like I'm going to enjoy this.
