Time for episode 2 and Starfire's sister pays us a visit, but is it that a good thing?

In the comics, Blackfire's hair and 'star bolt' colors were the result of a genetic defect that made her unwelcome on her home planet. Obviously, this was not the case in this version, but I thought you might find that interesting. Interestingly enough, this series largely avoids deviling into characters' backstories. And even when they do, they never go into more than what's necessary for the story. Practically, this is because at the time, Warner Bros and DC had this rule that DC characters couldn't appear in more than one animated series at a time, unless they were in the same continuity. That's why Batman and most of the adult heroes never appear in Teen Titans, and why Robin never appeared in Justice League. However, these constraints really helped the creative develop the unique style of storytelling that this series is known for.

Blackfire really is the worst lol btw the Ben 10 alien you’re thinking about is Kraab. He’s one of the bounty hunters from the OG series that fought Ben when he was still trying to figure out the omnitrix.

Thats him! Ty. I knew it looked familiar. I wonder if we will see Blackfire again.

Anriku

Thats... messed up. She suffered bigotry and got exiled. Wow. That sounds cool to me. I'm all for it being separated. It can get confusing/murky when shared universes happen. I don't mind it but this is a nice change for DC.

In the comics, yes, but this version comes off more as a spoiled brat.

Anriku

100%. She sucks here. 🤣
