Certain Fullbottles have compatibility with certain people. If it wasn't obvious by now, Banjou has high compatibility with Dragon. And, even though it's never explicitly stated, Sento has high compatibility with Rabbit.

That lines up with what I was thinking, thanks for explaining. They made it clear the Fullbottle was meant for him, but they didn’t actually pointout the chemical reaction side of it until now.

I’m pretty sure the reason he uses different bottles together that aren’t best matches are to promote the toys. Obviously the best matches are meant for each other the rest is just a mix and match games. Hope this helps!

Here are the full bottle best matches we have so far. 1=rabbit/tank 2=gorilla/diamond 3=hawk/gatling 4=ninja/comic 5=panda/rocket full bottles he has but have yet to see with best match: hedgehog, vacuum, dragon, lion, pirate

2026-10-17 21:00 The obvious reason is to promote the toys as other have pointed out, but in world, I personally believe it also emphasize Sento's personality. We're dealing with a MC who is also a scientist (arguably borderline mad scientist), of course he'd love to experimenting new stuffs, even if they're not the optimal matches.

The toy reason makes a lot of sense. I guess thats fair for the mad scientist bit but kind of goes against wanting to help people. You'd think he would use the optimal matches to get the job done.

6:14 The sky wall incident happened 10 years ago and Misora is 19 years old. Also, another reason why Sento doesn't always use the best matches is that he doesn't have a best match for all the bottles yet, so if he wants to use Panda's powers he has to use it without a best match.

She was 9 around the time her father was already exposed to Pandora's Box. Did they say Faust was experimenting on her? I can't remember. Wouldn't he just stick with best matches until he finds the BM for the others? The fact they have to sell toys makes the most sense to me.
