More Raven overarching plot? YES PLEASE. I love that she’s fighting her destiny and finally turning to her friends for help. I really hope we learn more about her lore in the coming episodes.

Drop your thoughts below and enjoy the ride!

Eons ago, Trigon was born in the realm known as Azarath. He was the product of a forbidden mating between a priestess and the god they worshipped. At birth, he killed everyone around him, including his mother. By age 1, he had conquered an entire planet. By age 6, he detroyed said planet for his own amusement. By age 30, he had dominion over every planet in his home dimension. Angella Roth was a depressed teenager from Gotham City who joined a satanic cult lead by Brother Sebastian Blood. During one of their rituals, Trigon appeared before them in the form of a handsome young man and seduced Angella in having sex with him. When it was over, Trigon revealed his true form and told her their child would one day let him enter their world for real and bring about the end of all things. Angella tried to kill herself, but was instead transported to Azarath where she was to raise her child and was given the new name Arella.

Also, interesting detail. If you'll notice the way Slade moves in this episode. The way he lumbers around. It's meant to mirror the way his robot soldiers moved in season 1. It's a subtle way of showing how he's little more than a tool for Trigon now.

🤣 🤣 It's unleashes the big brain.

Great pair of episodes. I love how Raven scared Slade when she forced him to come back so she could smack him around. I also think it’s great that the titans heard the name Trigon and they all realized just how bad things are. The episode after serves as a great to offset the dark vibes. It pokes at Robin and Starfire’s relationship with some comedy in the mix.

35:11 That form of Cyborg reminds me of a old cartoon I seen before but I can't remember what it was.

Giant Robo. That's the one.

Anriku

Oooh. That makes sense. Ty.

Anriku

Someone else mentioned Giant Robo and it makes sense to me.

Anriku

The name Trigon shook them. Loved it.

Anriku

Thats amazing. 👏

Anriku

Thats a wild backstory. Not surprised Blood was involved. Lucky for Raven her mother was saved.
