Fantastic set of episodes with the Sinister Six coming together, Peter getting the black suit, and Eddie growing more aggressive. And of course, more Green Goblin being an absolute menace. I wonder if he will be back eventually.

Chameleon, aka Dimitri Smerdyakov, is another of Spidey’s earliest enemies, first appearing in The Amazing Spider-Man #1 (1963). He is also the brother of Sergei Kravinoff (Kraven the Hunter) (though the nineties cartoon made him the brother of Electro, and both the children of Red Skull, for some unsightly reason). Chameleon’s two accomplices are Quinton Beck (Mysterio) and Phineas Mason (Tinkerer). Also gave some extra info last Spidey upload.

Harry’s addiction here is actually a comic thing too, his dad treated him badly and nothing is going right so Harry falls apart. They just kept it “kid-friendly” by using a fake serum. A subtle detail you may notice about the black Spider-Man suit, it changes a little each time, looking a little more sinister. Also, Peter was asleep with his last fight against the Sinister Six and made no quips. It’s why the suit nearly killed Doc Ock.

1:35:31 Which scene are you referring to? When the symbiote took over him at night to roll the Sinister Six, it was on auto pilot there was no speech. The first time he fought the sinister six Peter was awake and then he went home and called it a day.

Wait, a fake serum? I read it as being real and genuinely altering him. He was clearly desperate for all the reasons you mentioned, so he started taking the serum.

Jamersons usualy like this the comics like to go in the contrast jj sees peter as a son infact they had it out when peter finaly cracked and sat down with jj as spidermsncsnd revealed his identity its a very emorional comic mix emorions jj is hurt oeter lied to him peter is hurt that jj hates apart of him

Fascinating you were so confident GG was Harry during season one. In the fandom at the time, it was highly disputed. Lots of people assumed Harry’s serum was a red herring and that it was Normal as usual.
