It’s time to return to Gravity Falls with Season 2 Episodes 1–4, and MAN… these did not disappoint. Bill Cipher is such an unhinged and insanely entertaining villain.

- (S2 Episode 2) "OOIY DMEV VN IBWRKAMW BRUWLL." = "WHAT KIND OF DISASTER INDEED." (from the end credits, decoded using the vigenère cipher, using the keyword "SHIFTER" found on a barrel in the bunker) - (S2 Episode 2) On the author's Hiding Spot page, there's a bunch of binary code that translates to "Put all six pieces together!" in reference to the six-page pieces from Dipper's Guide to the Unexplained - (S2 Episode 2) In the Cryogenic Tube section of Journal 3, there's a cipher that translates to "AM I ME? IS HE ME?." (it's not possible to copy-paste it here) - (S2 Episode 2) On following pages, there is another cipher that translates to "ICE ICE BABY." (it's not possible to copy-paste it here) - (S2 Episode 2) "15-11-8-6-9-8-19-6 3-5-19 9-18 11-23-21-16-15-10-19-6-25 21-9-3-12-20" = "IMPROPER USE OF MACHINERY COULD" (from the page section revealed at the end of the episode) - (S2 Episode 2) "12-19-23-20 4-9 3-4-4-19-6 21-23-4-23-5-4-6-9-8-16-19" = "LEAD TO UTTER CATASTROPHE." - (S2 Episode 2 Trivia) Nothing notable that isn't spoiler-related or that which I am uncertain... - For clarification, Dipper & Mabel are 12 years at the start of the story & Wendy is 15 years old, so it's about a 3 year gap between Dipper & Wendy, so you were pretty close with your guess of 11 & 16 respectively! (Bonus, Soos is either 21 or 22 years old, but the exact age is still debated) - Yes, you're correct! The "Mysterious Old Man" in the Bunker is voiced by Mark Hamill, only for that form however, when they shapeshift into other creatures they're voiced by a mixture of Alex Hirsch & Fred Tatasciore

Two interesting details to notice. 1. In Episode 2, just before Shapeshifter arrives in his human disguise, notice how the shadows of his human body and the 'monster' are always connected. He was using his powers to make it look like there were two separate entities. 2. In episode 4, Dipper closes his eyes just before the countdown started. It's widely believed that he nodded off from exhaustion and the countdown was all a trick.

You're so lucky. The release schedule for this Season was nuts. Disney only premiered one or two new episodes per month, so they could spread it out and build up the hype. Thus ensuring higher ratings. Which worked.
