This was a fun episode with a solid lesson for the senshi and some nice character growth along the way. Moments like this are what make the team dynamic hit even harder.

But I can’t lie… I’m still locked in on Juzo. I know, I know, I sound like a broken record at this point but the man is just too badass. Every time he shows up, the energy shifts. I NEED to see what he does next.

I have two things to say 1=I don't know if the monster was a turtle or pill bug, but I get the feeling he is an armadillo 2=the monster in this episode and the last episode (the green and red one) are special, but I won't tell you (if you don't want me too) cause it's a spoiler (also the two monsters spoiler and the first episode spoiler are not Shinkenger spoilers)

If Dayu was his mom he wouldn't be a half-breed, precisely because he said he entered the sanzu river when he was alive. The Sanzu river is a place where dead souls reside. I could be wrong with this one, but I think it's particularly vengeful spirits that go there

I hear you. I was just thinking if the mom was corrupt and the dad was human, that would still make him a half-breed. Either parent could technically be either species. But yeah, it probably comes down to him being human and willingly entering the river. I just tend to think of “half-breed” as a lineage thing rather than a river thing XD
