I love Tom Kenny’s Plastic Man. The creatures at the start were Shaggy Men (one of whom we saw in the Bat-Mite episode), artificial being created by a number of evil scientists. Rubberneck is an original character for the show and essentially has the same sort of powers as Plastic Man; elasticity, invulnerability, etc, but he’s a dumb brute. Kite Man is indeed voiced by Jeffrey Combs. What’s crazy is that Kite Man actually has his own animated series, modern in fact. Baby Plas and Schnitzel are really funny to me. Baby Plas is a character in the comics and was even in the 1977 cartoon, for similar comedic purposes. That comic panel that Plastic Man became was a real comic panel with the same wife character from back in the day. This whole episode is essentially one grand Plastic Man comic issue lol. Nice Wimpy reference. ;)

Kite Man is like Killer Moth, he's a loser, but he has his fans. And you're right, that is a wild origin story. Much better than the one in comics, which can be summed up as "Man Obsessed with Kites". Also, fun fact, Kite Man's real name is Charles Brown. I swear to God that is true, this man is named Charlie Brown.
