Apparently, none of the cast or crew new about the time reset thing until they actually got around to filming it. Only the director and head writer knew. Also, this episode is the first time we see the regular, normal moon in the entire series, likely to reassure the viewer that this time it isn't a dream.

I'm with you here. Zeztz after this episode has the potential to be the best Reiwa series. I was afraid a bit. Back when Baku was fumblin' and bumblin', when it dragged a bit to be a toy commercial, but then things never stopped being great after Nox Knight and this reboot took things to an astronomical level. I'm not surprised as Yuya Takahashi's the GOAT. Kamen Rider Ex-aid was arguably the best Kamen Rider series of the Heisei era (some people would argue for Ryuki or Gaim, which i can see that argument). You are definitely gonna love Ex-Aid whenever you get to it because in Yuya Takahashi we trust!

To be honest this episode was the first time since episode 5 I was not looking forward to the episode. But like that episode I ended up liking this episode. I'm not a fan of memory erasure or total reset storylines, but this one managed to subvert my expectations of what I thought was going to happen. From the preview I thought Baku would try to hide his future knowledge, but no he just let everyone know right off. Also this may not be a complete redo of the previous episodes as it was Baku's failure to stop Fujimi's nightmare from coming to the real world that caused more people to become infected with nightmares and he prevented that here. But while he is overpowered with his new capsems, he also doesn't have a motorcycle anymore.
