A new menace approaches?! I can’t wait to see what this new villain is all about. But first, can we talk about our boy Chiaki growing stronger every time he gets a moment to shine? It was so cool seeing Super Shinken Green in action!

Drop your thoughts below and enjoy the ride! ⚔️

Now that all the major players have arrived, I can tell you Juzo and Dayu's backstory in Power Rangers Samurai. The two were normal humans who had just gotten married. On the night of their honeymoon, they went to a nice cabin in the woods. Juzo (Deker) gifted Dayu a guitar and Dayu gifted Deker a sword. In the middle of the night after they had fallen asleep, they awoke to find that the cabin had caught fire. Dayu pulled Deker outside only to find he was a the brink of death. That's when the new master who showed up this episode appears before them. He offers Dayu a deal, he can bring Deker back to life if she agrees that they will both become Wraiths (Nighlok), not mentioning that Deker will have no memory of her or his life as a human. I think this is the one thing Samurai does better than Shinkenger as it shows why Dayu is so fixated on Deker. It's also hinted at earlier in the season when Dayu was trying to make that wedding dress. Wanted to relive the past any way she could.

The best part, the guitar Deker gave Dayu became her "harmonia" and the sword she gave Deker became Uramasa. So they both still carry around an important momento of their past lives.
