S4 is on par with S2 so far — PURE HYPE 🔥 The callbacks to older Ninjago seasons hit perfectly, and it really gives off that same energy as S15 when they first unlocked their dragon forms. Honestly… I like these Dragon Forms even more.

S4 Part 2 can’t come soon enough.

Great reaction as usual. As for notes: Draconus Lloyd introduction absolute w. And I really like what they did of oh it's not a monster no it's the worst monster Imperium has ever known even though it's kind of a classic Trope that has been done before it fits so perfectly. And yes it is Percival I am pretty sure I mentioned it in my notes on the other episode when he first appeared at the monastery. You are correct in remembering a time when the ninja turned into dragons it was crystallized finale only the original four turned into Dragon form. Though that was definitely different from this. Sorry you wrists were getting sore lol. Dr Larow wrecked Cole coming in clutch for sure. And I really like Percival saying the elemental master of Earth is risking his life for us we're not giving up don't know if it's just the delivery of the VA but hit really well. Frak yeah I'm not loving your hometown and Sora hard agree. Damn Jay back for what like around 24 hours of having his Memories Back and already dogging on Frak Sora saying that's not what I intended and Nya say take the win honestly though. And honestly I didn't comment on it much and I know she did it way long back already in this part but Sora having in that pink or magenta like color is awesome. I mean you have to give it to you Beatrix saying are you trying to bore me with spiritual garbage I mean fits her personality 🤣 W elements back 🔥 🪨 ⚡️ 🧊 💧 Lloyd going ham and clean fights left and right. Nice Lloyd Cole moment there. W rest of the Ninja with Draconus form Wyldfyre saying why didn't she become a dragon honestly feel her but I'm sure her time will come later. Arin not having powers coming in clutch able to reverse the weapon of desolation along with Cole helping. Whispering Woods saved baby. Jay Cole fully reunite. And the reveal that some of the covert loyalists inside Imperium were indeed sora's parents. The realm that Larow appeared to have learned about the weapon of desolation from is the same realm that Sora, Frak and Wyldfyre we're in that they were hallucinating stuff into reality. That realm is called the land of internal Dawn. And Sora's parents come to the monastery cliffhanger. Ras got another icon that man's picking them things up like he's grocery shopping now. Glad you enjoyed Dr season 4 part 1 and I definitely hard agree it's definitely on par with dragon's Rising season 2 which is for now holding the slot just above this season in my rankings for me until we actually get part two of season 4 but if part two of season 4 is even anywhere near as good as part one I think it'll even surpass Dr season 2 for me. This first part was an absolute Banger so many callbacks so much just that was done so right especially after the kind of slop disaster we had with Dr season 3.

Season 4 Part 1 was awesome! I’m really impressed with how they managed all these groups of characters and still made it entertaining. Things I’m looking forward to: - I really want Rontu to see Arin’s spinjitzu so maybe she can shred some light on the dark bits. We know Arin did his first real tornado through Ras’s lessons so maybe, doing the ability that way, is connected to his master - What will happen with Sora’s parents? I’m thinking they came to infiltrate the ninja group and help Beatrix but once they see Sora happy they’ll finally come around - If Morro came back…doesn’t that mean the Forbidden Five are back? Will they come back into play as true villains?
