I was NOT expecting Darkseid this early, and now I’m really wondering if he’s going to come back in Season 3. This episode hit everything for me too, great comedy, solid action, just a really fun watch overall.

Drop your thoughts below and enjoy the ride! (I decided to do 1 episode today since this feels like it'll be more serious than the next 2. Tomorrow will be Ep 25 AND Ep 26. Keep an eye out for it.)

In justice league unlimited Booster Gold was mistaken for Green Lantern in the episode he was in by bystanders so many times. Him in Hal’s old room was genius

JD Dumas

This version of the Justice League is based on the Justice League International from the 1980s. Of course, that lineup also included Captain Marvel, Mr. Miracle, Big Barda, Doctor Fate and the female Doctor Light.

Just a taste of Darkseid and already he’s a menace. Those boom tubes that the New Gods of both Apokolips and New Genesis use to get around actually size them proportionately to their destination. In their native Fourth World, they make humans look like specks. The military commander guy in the Darkseid’s command ship is Virman Vundabar. He is Darkseid’s top military strategist and commander of Apokolips’s shock troops, as well as being a prominent foe of Mister Miracle. During an Apokoliptian incursion of Earth during the early 20th century, Virmin adopted his name and the getup of many Prussian generals as he was impressed by their military culture. Martians in general do have a major weakness to fire. Also, Martian Manhunter actually does have a cookie obsession/addiction in the comics, especially chocolate (usually some form of Oreo). It’s really funny.

JD Dumas

As Otto von Bismark once said, "Where most countries have a military, the Prussian Military has a country."

The man did basically create Germany. I do like how some of the New Gods based their identities and getups off of Earth concepts, like how Serifan of New Genesis is a cowboy gun slinger.

Sounds like a fun line up for sure.
