This was a really fun Shinkenger special, and part of me wishes I had saved it for after Episode 49—but I get why it wouldn’t line up chronologically. Either way, we’re jumping right back into the main plot next with Episodes 44 and 45!

Whenever you see something like those two guys on the roof, that is usually a cameo by the voice actors for villains, or other characters in suits. Most series have at least one. In this case, those are the voices of Doukoku and Shitari.

This released after the show but this wasn't the last appearance of the Shinkengers as Goseiger vs Shinkenger released the year after.

That makes sense! One of them was drinking from the same sake bowl as Dokoku, and the other was eating grilled, dried squid

Not sure if there was any significance to slotting this Special between these episodes, but i guess if they do it this way, then they can keep telling stories inbetween, so they don't disturb the overall ending.
