J Man

It's so weird to see Hojo get a W. I'm like "am I supposed to cheer this?"

Yuki

Another great stories. It feels like a good detective show. I love how they wrote that Hojo may have a bad personality, but he isn’t a criminal, and the episode shows that he really does have a sense of justice as a cop. Also, about the Mysterious Man and Tetsuya.I really love their mystical atmosphere, in a good way, doesn’t feel like the usual Kamen Rider. Mysterious man may look like the leader of the villains, yet he probably loves human beings and even grants Tetsuya’s wish. Can't wait next episodes！ Thanks as always.

I don’t think this is a spoiler, so I’ll say it here: you can forget about the connection to Kuuga. According to the producer, at first they were thinking of having Kuuga appear again to help the show if Agito didn’t sell well. Fortunately, those concerns turned out to be groundless, and the only connection that remained was a few lines of dialogue in first two episodes.

Anriku

That's what I heard before, but them bringing up 2 years ago kind of felt like it was talking about Kuuga.

Lightning

That line was referring to Mana's dad who was killed.

They weren't. There are zero references to Kuuga anymore. There are loads of references to the past, but it's all contained to the show's own mythology.

Hojo's a jerk, but he's only a jerk because he wants to do the right thing and is convinced him being in charge of G3 IS the right thing. But he very much does have his own code of honor, just not one that makes him very likeable.

Remember, the Agito capture team hurt Ryo, because he's the one they got instead. That might also be a reason for her revenge. (I actually don't remember this subplot, so I have no idea if this is confirmed later or not.)

Anriku

Definitely a fan of the MM and Tetsuya scenes, too. The tone shifts in the series are so damn good.

Anriku

That's true. Maybe she is mad.
