R.I.P. to one of the characters I looked forward to the most in this series. He was true to himself and he got a great send off!

Now, it looks like a brand-new threat is racing onto the scene... and judging by that introduction, he has a serious grudge against Fuuto. I can't wait to see where this goes.

Drop your thoughts below and enjoy the ride!

Maskedman

Fang/Joker is the super form for a reminder, and the one with the Accel memory, he does have a grudge, but I don't think it is related to Fuuto

Ita confusing. The wiki lists it as Super (Upgrade) Form. It also seems like W didn't have a upgrade form since that usually comes before the super form, iirc.

Maskedman

The fandom page I just looked at says it's his super form. I like to pretend his upgrade form is Heat/Metal and/or Luna/Trigger (W isn't the only rider like that, there are some others where you can say some other form(s) are upgrade form). I don't know if I said this or someone else did, but not every rider goes though all 4 forms. Some riders just get a base form and that is it. Kamen Rider Geats had some riders that just had a base form and there is one other rider series that has some of its riders in just base form (I can tell you if you want me too)

Older shows don't really follow the typical power up formula that newer shows like Build, Geats, Gavv and Zeztz do. Like both Agito and W started with all of their base forms whereas newer riders typically have to unlock them. Also, you're 22 episodes into Agito and no ones gotten a new power up except for the mentions of G3-X coming in the future.

23:10 Awesome body language comedy from the legendary suit actor Seiji Takaiwa! The Shotaro half throwing his fist up in anger at Akiko and the Phillip half calming him down. Again, I love how Seiji changes his body language every year to match the personality of the main character, and this was a nuanced one where he has to act like pseudo Siamese twins. What I also like about Seiji as a suit actor, is he tends to throw in a lot of ad libbing in his shoots and the directors just leave it in. One thing I like about him in Agito is that Agito doesn't talk at all, so it's 100% body language talking. (I think most of us probably first really saw his work was in Big Bad Beetleborgs and Beetleborgs Metalix where he was both main metal heroes)

Anriku

Oh yeah. I've noticed that in Agito. For me, W feels closer to series I've already watched so them skipping a form was a little confusing. Agito doesn't register as the same for me, so I didn't except certain things from it.

we dont see any fang combos besides fang joker in the actual series, but fang metal and fang trigger do show up in the fuuto PI manga (though the anime does leave off before the point they show up sadly)

Anriku

Dang. Thats a shame. That'd be cool to see!

Part of it reflects what is still happening in real time. Population grown was and still is, dropping in Japan and every year has fewer children to watch the show, so more toys were created to sell to make up for it. It's why you get progressively more forms and often more riders as you go further, some forms that only really get used once just to have a toy to sell in some cases. Like Zeztz for example. Back in Agito, viewership alone was making them money, so that wasn't necessary. By the time W came around, it was starting to be, but has become worse as time has gone by.
