Alright... this is wild. 😅 This former 5-star is an absolute whack job—but I can't look away. He's ridiculously entertaining so far, which honestly seems to be the trend with characters like this.

I'm fully expecting Kyo to be the first one to get his Mega, and I am so ready for that moment.

Drop your thoughts in the comments, and as always, enjoy the ride!

Drifting Cloudymon

That wasn’t lava, it is was a cliff overlooking water at sunset with the orange light of sunset making the water look like that. Souji didn’t make Splashmon from water, most likely Splashmon is Kishiwara’s partner Digimon since when he first appeared to save Miharu he came and went in a puddle of water probably with Splahmon’s power over water. Splashmon is based off of a Kappa like Yokai whose name can be translated into English as Water Tiger so Splashmon is taking the inspiration more literal. To answer another of your questions, Digimon has different versions of how they came into existence across media the general lore has been the are made of data and information, so with the internet and all media on it means Digimon can be based on anything. Animals, machines, myth and religions, even just concepts of things. Digimon can be whatever the creative team wants them to be with the excuse of mixing different data and concepts to result in whatever they make. Oh one last thing, Devimon is a champion stage with MarineDevimon being one of its common possible Ultimate stages.

Anriku

Oh. 🤣 That makes a lot more sense. I was like how the heck did he survive THAT?! LOL. I wonder if Kishiwada will no longer have his Splashmon... then again, we see Digimon can be replaced as a partner now that we have Souji here. Ah, so it could get a combo of data rather than strictly singular. That makes sense. I mean... Bearcatmon has rollerblades lmao. Thought so. Its been so long but it makes sense he is an ultimate considering he was the first major villain in 01. Appreciate the info as always!
