As for why they keep ending up at the ramen place, I believe it's the older detective's favorite lunch spot, so whoever is currently partnered with him ends up going there with him.

I wonder if they had Seiji Takaiwa, Agito's suit actor, wear the G3 Suit when Shoichi is the Rider?

Toy wise? Not sure if they pushed hard with Agito. What I do know is they really pushed hard with the following season for toy and card sales, Kamen Rider Ryuki (which involved a lot of ripping off Yu-Gi-Oh. I'm surprised Toei didn't get lawsuit with how similar the designs of the cards were. This was also around the time where people were trying to mooch off Yu-Gi-Oh's popularity, so everything got a card gimmick)

I like that rage aspect of G3-X being too powerful. Reminds me a lot of the Hazard Trigger and Kamen Rider Build Hazard
