It’s time to conclude the Battle for Geonosis II... and what a conclusion it was!

I was NOT expecting Zombie Bugs, but honestly… that was awesome. The horror vibes in these last two episodes were such a welcome surprise and added a really fun, creepy twist to the story.

Drop your thoughts below, and enjoy the ride!

Man, I remember the teasers CN showed on the week leading up to "Legacy of Terror". Really built of the built up the suspense, horror and mystery surrounding the zombies.

- “Barriss looks like she’s going to turn to the dark side.” I almost spit out my drink. - Season 4 is indeed when the seriousness of the show is cranked up even farther, but already we can see it here with the sheer amount of death and destruction in this arc. Geonosis was the gravesite for 186 Jedi and countless first wave clones in the first battle of the war, and the planet once again claims a new host of victims. - I always liked that the Poggle the Lesser and the other Geonosians had their own language entirely different from Aurebesh (Galactic Basic), nothing but clicks and groans, very alien. - Poggle is “the Lesser” because he is lesser to the queen. - While we’re on Geonosis, a cool fun fact you may or may not remember is that the Geonosians are actually the ones who designed the original plans and models for the Death Star. We can see Count Dooku and Poggle discussing the plans over a hologram of the Death Star in Episode 2, Palpatine having envisioned his super weapon 19 years before it would ever come to fruition. This is why the Death Star is so densely packed and honeycombed with rooms, filled with this giant pits that go straight down, because it was designed by bugs who can fly and use them for navigation. - Star Wars horror stories are surprisingly some of the best ones, especially in this series. - I do think Obi-Wan’s whole brash idea of “your rule is over, surrender to Republic law” is pretty telling of exactly why so many planets, particularly in the Outer Rim, left the Republic to join the CIS. The Republic has just used the Jedis as tools to assassinate a sovereign leader and capitulate a planet under its own rule. This is what so many other planets fear and why they seceded. - There are a ton of moments throughout this series where Anakin may say or do something rather unethical and you can hear the Imperial March score play subtly in the background, it’s very cool.

CN sure knew how to hype things up back in the day... during my time and it sounds like during yours. I remember the good old Toonami days. :)

I look forward to getting to S4. My best friend told me that's when it gets dark. We have pretty similar taste, so I'm excited for that point onward. I agree. It definitely shows that the Republic aren't so innocent themselves.

Those were the days.
