Happy Thursday!

I love sharing the long version here on Patreon. The tips matter—but the thinking between the strokes matters more.

In today’s Video I’m at the Beach Condo and playing more than usual. This will be a glimpse into my thought process as we talk about watercolor control, more about salt, and just a bit of fun over working a painting, and you get to see it all!

If watercolor has ever felt unpredictable or frustrating, I hope this shows you that control isn’t talent—it’s awareness, timing, and restraint.

I’d love to know: what part feels hardest for you right now?

Supplies:

Hot Press Paper- Leyton

Cold Press - Fabriano

Rosa Paints: Paynes Grey, Indigo, Sepia, Magenta Rose, Quinn Gold, and Yellow Ochre.

Liner Brush

Well this was a very interesting challenge 🙂 I didn’t hate them for the first time ever trying doing this but water control on these, wow. I don’t know how you stay so wet mine are either puddles or dry there seems to be no in between. Practice practice practice

Remember, your brush holds certain amounts, as does the paper, and timing it takes some practice. 🌹♥️ You are doing great! Feel free to post your work below and ask questions.
