Hey friends 🌿

I’m testing out a new watercolor sketchbook that was sent to me from Flunbrato.

It’s a 10x7” refillable sketchbook with a ring binder design, so you can actually pull the watercolor sheets in and out — which is really interesting for practice pieces, planning studies, or even finishing work outside the book.

I’m painting a loose lupine wildflower in the demo using my Rosa Gallery watercolors so you can see how the paper handles layering, water, and soft blending in real time.

A few things I really liked about it right away:

100% cotton 300gsm (140lb) watercolor paper

Dual-sided texture so both sides are usable

Refillable system with replaceable sheets (hot and cold press)

A portable size that works for both studio and travel sketching

I’m still testing it, but I wanted to share an honest first look while I paint in it and see how it behaves with loose florals and wetter techniques.
