Grab your brushes, because today we are keeping things light, spontaneous, and incredibly fun. I’ve been working on some quick, low-pressure concepts perfect for beginners (or anyone just wanting to play with texture), and these little spring birds were born!

They were highly inspired by a real-life neighbor—a chaotic little spring fledgling that has taken up residence right outside my roof line. The daily drama of watching this tiny bird try to figure out how wings work has been unmatched, and I just had to channel that quirky personality onto paper.
