Hello Art Peeps! 🎨✨

If you missed us live or just want to paint these beauties again, the replay is ready for you! For this week’s Five Minute Friday tutorial, we are diving deep under the sea with some quick, loose, and incredibly fun watercolor jellyfish!

We'll start with a quick 5-minute warm-up, and if you can stick around, we will move on to the multicolored jellyfish to practice some beautiful wet-into-wet color blending.

Jellyfish are the absolute perfect subject for practicing loose watercolor techniques, playing with wet-into-wet washes, and letting your colors blend beautifully on the page. As you can see you can try out bright pops of orange and magenta, or lean into those dreamy, abstract purples and natural tones. There are no strict rules here—just pure creative play!

⏱️ What We Cover In This Session:

Creating the Cap: Fast, wet-into-wet shapes to get that perfect translucent, rounded look.

Loose Tentacles: Practicing fluid, relaxed brush strokes to let the tentacles dance naturally across the paper.

Color Splashes & Bleeds: Letting the pigments mingle and bleed to create that effortless underwater magic.
