Alright, folks! I know I only had it up for around five days, but the Stripper With a System Summons Poll both already had a remarkably high vote count and hadn't moved significantly for at least a day. I'd honestly have still left it up for another couple of days...if it wasn't for the fact that I'm done with the next two releases (bar editing).

With Confused Pokemon Adventure and the second Halfway Broken pretty much ready for their releases on the 12th and 16th respectively, the second Stripper With a System release of the month was the next up to be worked on. Sure, I technically could have skipped ahead and worked on the second release of Displaced Hero instead, but I honestly prefer the way I've been working. Having the next two stories already prepped reduces stress when I get stuck on something or life happens :-p.

As such, and with the poll not really moving anyway, I went ahead and closed it down so I could get to work on the update. On an extra note, this also let's me go ahead and put up next month's story poll (likely tomorrow), without having too much going on at once. That said, let's look at the results of the poll. To my shock and surprise...the horny didn't win this time!

... ... ... ... ... ...

Bruce Wayne (DC Comics) - 38%

Motoko Kusangi (Ghost in the Shell) - 27%

Teressa Richter/Dragon (Worm) - 22%

Lucyna Kushinada (Cyberpunk) - 12%

Sage (Marvel Comics) - 2%

... ... ... ... ... ...

While Motoko and Dragon took early leads, Old Bruce Wayne came up strong from behind and ended up dominating. Which means he's going to be the next summons...but wait, there's more! Because I did listen to the people who pointed out (honestly, rightfully) that most versions of Batman are going to have some issues with the bloodier parts of the Broker Network.

Now, this is an AU Batman, and not even all canon versions of him have had major issues with other people killing. Likewise, Rylia intended from the start to carefully alter the Broker operations to ditch anything super dark over time, while keeping morally grey stuff going. That said, I sort of agree with the argument that any version of Bruce you'd actually want running things would, in turn, want to make too many changes, too fast. Something likely to end up either getting them noticed or crippling the network's reach. More, Rylia's version of 'Grey' might be darker than he'd be completely suited for.

Soooooo, I came up with a solution. One I think will honestly work out well and, just as importantly, add something to the story/narrative instead of just patching a problem. What that solution is you'll just have to wait and see ;-). All I will say is that I'm breaking my usual rule of her only summoning one person at a time...

Mh mh Alfred is that you hopefully..... I would say that an older Bruce would likely be more pragmatic than a younger one especially with all the shit going on in DC in general and some of the multiverse level threats in particular..... Also for the sake of it I have a few ideas how to accomplish this as well... 1. a Bruce who actually was a part of the league of assassin's for some time and learned that permanent removing threats makes sense 2. One who got tought by Alfred (who in my head is always ex MI6 or ex SAS)to use what you have and the like ..... 3. An injustice League Batman that is while still a good guy a lot more morally flexible from the get go.... 4.a Bruce who's morals where more affected by his "wife" Thalia al guhl who will accompany him as they are a package deal in the system 5.a Bruce who sees the necessity of controlling what he can of the criminal underworld as he saw that he can't permanently remove it...... On another note as it is old Bruce he should see that there is no actual justice system in the terminus so just captureing people and imprisoning people wouldn't work and interstellar politics are a thing... ... Bruce was always morally grey if it concerns private information of other people so all the info broker things should not matter for him as much how some of the info was/is optained on the other hand is what would likely be a problem for "normal" Bruce..... Also a Bruce that makes a deal with the system would inherently be more morally grey than a "normal" one as the 'normal" one would never make any such deal...... Next what is interesting and slightly funny for me is Bruce is likely going to remember kara or well at least a kara or two which could be extremely funny .... Also even with a more morally dubious/felxable Bruce I still want exasperated old man Bruce who gets the I am so done with this shit expressions regularly when dealing with our MC and her harem of waifus(it will hopefully exist at some point)

Not Alfred no :-). This Bruce is in his 70s, so Alfred is long gone. As to the rest, I appreciate the input, but I've already got the resolution to the issue written :-p.

Donan The Barbarian

I mean you could have old man Bruce AND Alfred because Bruce had to make a deal with the system to save Alfred's life when he was younger and that deal extended Alfred's lifespan enough that Alfred's still alive.

Golden age batman routinely killed, his very first appearance had him punch a villain into a vat of acid. He shot criminals, and broke necks as well as limbs. I think they eventually in-universe had him develop the no-killing rule (rather than just retconning/changing his modus operandi). So maybe you're going with a version of Batman that had that kind of origin/only developed the no-killing rule later in his career?
