August Story Poll Results! (Patreon)

Alright! The August Story Poll wrapped up at midnight last night, and I and my calculator just got done doing the vote weighing! So let us take a look at the results!
Why Was There No Truck?!: 352.68+ (10% Boost) = 387.948
Stripper With a System: 260.57
A Very Confused Pokemon Adventure: 203.5
Harry Potter: Pandora's Box: 175.16
Wow. That was not even close. Heck, it wouldn't have been close even without the boost! I guess people were really sick of not having more Why Was There No Truck?! for so long :-p. I was honestly more surprised by how poorly A Very Confused Pokemon Adventure did, though, given it left off on the closest thing to a cliffhanger I think I've ever written. Harry Potter: Pandora's Box was a bit less of a surprise, given that you guys still have another update of it coming on the 28th of this month.
That's a little bit of a flaw with the current system, but not one that can really be fixed with the current release schedule of every 4 days, through the entire month. A couple of stories are always going to not have all their monthly releases finished yet when the poll rolls out. Unless I shuffled the two guaranteed updates with the others? That would create timing issues with the actual writing, though, as I wouldn't have enough time between the poll and the time the poll story was due to release.
Well, no matter. We have a very clear winner for August at least. As for which story I'm going to do the Author's Choice on...I haven't decided yet. My muse is currently strongest for Stripper, but it's also had two months in a row of releases. If I did Pandora's Box it would push things most of the way through the end of Year 2 there. Then, of course, there's the cliffhangerish moment I left Pokemon Adventure on. Hmmm...
Oh well, I have a couple of days to figure it out. I already have the Halfway Broken entry ready for the 1st (except needing an edit pass), and I just finished a 11,000+ word rough draft for Why Was There no Truck?!. The voting was obviously enough in its favor that I was pretty sure it was going to win, though I was actually wrong in my guess on that last month :-p. That means I can work on the first Displaced Hero release, next. Plus I need to work on the month's extra as well. So I don't need to worry about the Author's Choice until after those...
