Hey everyone! A hotfix is here for some of the issues you’ve reported since the 2.8.0 release.

This update fixes Racing Team spectate races getting stuck at the start, improves vehicle repairs and business job recovery, and includes fixes for taxi fares, cash-delivery vehicles, saves, and Linux compatibility.

Thanks to everyone who reported problems, shared details, and helped test the fixes. Your feedback makes a big difference!

look for the newest version of the repo manager for the collection, itll come up under the extras when you get the right one and you can download collection mods from there :)

I'm not able to spawn a police car at the Belasco City Police Department when starting a shift. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if something else is the problem.

as you level up in the police career only some cars will unlock. I think it's if there are 2 cars on a level only one unlocks. The first example i can think of is a Grand Marshall variation that unlocks at level 5. I am level 14 and it remains locked ("Police Interceptor" paint scheme I think) Same things happens with the 3.5 AWD Bastion at level 17. Remains locked when at or above level 17.

Parcel delivery is still broken. Once you do a delivery you get locked in to only doing parcels for that place regardless of logistics level.

I just installed this, but the vehicles in the shop are showing their power in PS instead of HP. I have the interface set to show power as HP, is there anything else I have to change for the mod to also use that setting?

nice! but did you fix the Reop Mod Manager, theirs a bunch of comments its not working, i cant get it to work at all and i have tired everything, it shows in the menu but dose nothing when clicking on it.

Hey guys, this was an issue with the public release 2.8.0 before the hotfix was even released. All car pictures when you are viewing your cars from your garage have all been reverted to stock/default pictures. I was hoping this hotfix fixed that it and did not, I'm currently playing on 2.8.0 beta and not even the 2.8.0 public because the car pictures when viewing my cars is correct and overall seems the beta file is running more stable. Makes it extremely difficult to tell which d-series is a 2000hp diesel and which one is a box truck for hauling cargo to give you guys an example of what I'm talking about. I've seen a couple of others post about this issue as well when 2.8.0 public came out. I love the mod, rls career, and the work you guys continue to do and looking forward to the drag stuff raceless was teasing on youtube!

i got a reply early about this, in short team knows about ( some thing to due with the new save system) fix will happen in the meantime i recommend renaming your cars and trucks

I have a problem, after dropping off a package, car just revs and does not drive, its not a brakes problem, I dezactivated all repo mods except for rls career mods and still doesnt work

How do I pick up from the mall location it won’t spawn trailer as I’m blocking it but also I can’t find another pick up spot?

Anyone else have an issue with the driver camera not loading sometimes? Save and reload fixed on occasion but not every time

Unable to purchase any more cars, even though I have 8 open slots on West Coast. Getting the message on the purchase screen "No free garage space. Vehicles awaiting freight pickup also reserve garage space. Sell a vehicle or buy or rent more storage." I have nothing waiting at freight pickup either.

I had the same issue on the 2.8.0 beta but it was fixed on the public release. Now it's back.

Whenever i go to deliver some trailers with my truck, when i go and park into the spot for parking the trailers, the truck freezes and it cant go foward or anythin. I can shift, trun my wheel rev but it doesnt move. When i try to load my older save it says "Please wait untill the transaction completes". I dont know what to do..

Anybody got a problem with vehicle transport job? Not being able to navigate to drop-off so can't drop it off.

AMAZING MOD! It seems with the latest update the icon where you pull up to initiate a race at the drag strip is gone. Therefore drag racing is gone for me at the moment as i cant initiate the race, choose opponent etc. Im not sure if ive missed something or anyone else is having the same issues?

Still having problems on the Steam Deck. When I tried this on the Linux Runtime, it would start to load the career and a LUA error would show but cant quite catch what it says. It would hang on the loading screen without loading anything. Running this on Proton Experimental loads the save and loads everything on the loading screen but crashes just before loading into the map.

It is still happening. It only seems to happen in RLS and not in freeroam. I will keep trying to work it out

For some reason this hotfix made my engine workshop UI broken. so i had to revert to prev version for now.

Hey devs! I’ve noticed a few issues with the taxis that seem to be fairly common. 1. Incorrect vehicle colour: When playing as police, the taxis are labelled as white vehicles, even though they’re clearly yellow. 2. Entering taxis: Sometimes when I try to enter a taxi, the game breaks the window glass instead and cancels the ride. 3. Getting stuck inside taxis: This is the biggest issue I’ve encountered. Even the slightest scratch or damage while riding in a taxi can cause me to become stuck inside the vehicle. Even after being “kicked out” of the taxi, I’m unable to exit properly and end up having to restart my game or reload my save. Hopefully these issues can be looked into and fixed in a future update. Otherwise, I’m enjoying the mod! At least my stamina is high! 😂

Hey I'm here just to comment on an annoying issue, the tuning shop on west coast sometimes gives out plain impossible/outrageous challenges if you progress all into the tree to unlock the free giving up, I burnt all my savings to get it and now the challenges demand some outrageous things from vehicles like the hirochi talent/moonhawk asking for a 7s quarter mile time, and the payout/general thing isn't fun at that difficulty to payout range to even try. Why isn't there an option to set what difficulty in tasks you want?

Game refuses to load for me its basically the exact same issue i stated in the non hotfix version of this its on you guys for sure now because i litteraly compeltly wiped both of my drives reinstalled it on my linux install and its still not loading im hoping with the next patch you guys fix this issue for good because no one on linux right now can play it seems

yup same issue as me this started with the first release too i completly wiped both of my SSD's on my PC and reinstalled it on my cachy os install still the same issue so im guessing its something to do with linux in particular guess all we can do is wait at this point

love the mod, but since my gpu is just strong enough to run the vanila version of the game I have trouble running the mod without graphic glitches. Any suggestions?

pressing escape to pause just removes all of the on screen display and i can't do anything

Yo just wanna say thanks for all the amazing work you've done. I just started Beamng earlier this week and heard so much about this mod everywhere I looked. Wanted to drop some positivity since I imagine scrolling through dozens and dozens of comments of "x is broken" "this wont work" "wheres the dating sim update" must be a little draining.

That being said, where IS the dating sim update?? (escape wont pause my game anymore but if anyone else is having this issue, press ctrl + U and a small debug menu at the bottom will appear, allowing you to open menus )

i accidently wiped my save trying to fix this lol, the only thing that has worked for me so far is, you can access options through the phone controls app, and also, hitting ctrl+U will open a small debug menu that has some shortcuts.

A big problem ive ran into is having gooseneck trailers that are not tall enough for certain vehicles to hitch to due to the tounge not being adjustable if it is a loaner or employed trailer. If there could be a way to adjust the hitch without using the tuning menu, that would be awesome.

ive been getting stuck in place after finishing a job or doing a task my car is stuck can change gears rev up but simply wont move keeps happening over n over.

Love the RLS mod series, I've been playing for years so i truly couldn't be more grateful for raceless and everyone else involved in RLS. I seen a similar comment on the 2.8.0 update, but I'm having an issue loading in the settings... my ESC and Controller menu button just clears all the UI from my screen, my only solution to closing the game is ALT F4. if anyone is experiencing similar issues or has an idea what is causing this please comment.

when i complete a race in the racing team business it gives me like .25 of what the payout is supposed to do therefore its constantly losing money because even if im always winning a race the overhead cost still outweighs the income like i had a race for 20k and it paid out 5 i was getting the full amount untill i paid that 1500 for league 2 or whatever now im only getting paid a quarter of what im supposed to
