Watermelon

Love a chill mega show Great show gents

Matt Matt

Speaking of development hell, I saw on wiki that Michael Mann is trying to make a sequel to Heat, which kinda blows my mind but maybe it would be awesome.

Matt Matt

TJ, have you seen Flow, the animated film? It's the most incredible film I've seen in years, it might even be the film of the century, better than anything in recent memory. It's not like the stuff you guys highlighted here but I know you're also into the super sentimental stuff so am really curious what you'd think.

Cameron

Anyone who thought Paul vs TJ was serious is an idiot or just doesn’t understand how to comprehend human dynamics.

Cameron

Yes please more, the gauntlets are fun, when they’re painfu. A sweet and long nice show is a golden mix

I can't fucking believe I didn't know the story of Scotty and the Lava Bug. I just thought he had a crazy obsession with Starship Troopers, and the lava bug thing was a jab. I had no idea there was a whole story of TJ walking in on Scotty beating his pud to this CGI, killing machine of an insect...if there is no follow-up to this with a story even remotely as funny as this one, I'm finna ugly cry. This was fucking gold, and also I'm a fan of these movie based uploads

JDTaylor

Absolutely loved the movie talk. Would definitely look forward to watching more of these. If you need/want to guys, you could set it up so that donations make the show go longer. Though pls then be prepared with material for it to to go for like 24 hours, as I bet it would be that popular :)

Todd Newton

The Breakfast Club is probably my favourite movie and would be classed as a Chamber movie. Most of it takes place in a school library but every scene takes place on a school's premises. Anyway enjoyed the show.

David

Pontypool is good. It's amazing what they did with such a small budget. The strength of good writing.

Juke

I’m not gonna lie. My first thought when I first saw xandalar was, “oh no, I hope they ain’t doing any hard stuff”.

Tyler Fish

Vince Vaughn was great in Brawl in Cell Block 99 (and Dragged Across Concrete, both made by the same guy who made Bone Tomahawk)

lomarivosa1 .

I think this is my favorite end of the month six hour show you have ever produced. More content like this, please.

DragonDaggerFeenix

I think alot of the backlash to recent gauntlets has soley been a branding issue. If this was billed as a gauntlet I wouldnt have enjoyed it as much. But a super show like this is great! More please!

Tristan Wilson

Pretty awesome mega show. Deserves multiple episodes.

ExplicitC

At least Last of the Us is a subversive true art, i meaning the game itself mostly. The show is just a echo/adaption.

lll

This was way more interesting than any recent gauntlet

Randar Zalthor

This was a refreshing idea to add to the repertoire of monthly Mega episodes. Even other media topics might be explored!

Officer Jarpis

I watched Pontypool, I quite enjoyed it. Thanks for the recommendations, fellers.

I liked Gremlins 2, but it had a weird mixed message because it ultimately seems to support the marriage between Art and Commerce. The corpo CEO guy is shown to be an idiot, but good-hearted, and that was weird. The story just isn't hard enough on commercialism.

Lord Flaynus the flayed anus

This was a delight. I want more of this, with you guys just talk about shit you like. I mean, I love the Gauntlets but this episode had very good energy. Anyway, stay sexy, boy's.

King Bugs

Paul dumb. TJ degenerate. Scotty best boy.

Ishaan govardhan

I remember Paul and TJ saying that they don't like watching tragedies. Which is fine, but it also means that they don't truly like watching dark movies. Bcoz nothing is darker than a serious, brutal tragedy like Amour, Biutiful, Manchester by the Sea, Pig, or Happiness. I like horror too, and tragedies are just the most realistic, grounded form of horror. You'll never have to run or hide from a ghost/demon IRL, but you WILL have to deal with losing some of your loved ones IRL. So this is real hardcore horror right here.

Will Novak

Same here, I paused the show, watched it and came back. This show was fun.

Michael Sewell

Really enjoyed this episode would love to see another!

Red Rocket

Highlight of the show

Ryan Sansossio

A favorite “chamber film” is mine is The Sunset Limited with Tommy Lee Jones and Samuel Jackson. Probably kinda cliche to some people, but I love it.

gotsniff

Liked the conversation. Great coverage

Pontypool is a town in Ontario, not Saskatchewan. There's also lots of references to nearby towns and cities like Peterborough. I live about 30 minutes drive from Pontypool so that movie was extra scary!!! Thanks for the recommendation, Paul!
