I have had time to think about this dress issue and reflect on my own life and I think I understand Paul better. I wanted to wear skirts and dresses somtimes as a kid. I do that more and more now. I was shamed away from that stuff by my parents for awful reasons. However, I lived in a rural county that was very poor and had kids as early as middle school age who were trying to join the bloods and shit and if I showed up to school in one I would have been frequently beaten and harassed. From that perspective, I think it would be a good idea that the parent get a good understanding of the environment the kid is in, and then let them express themselves that way as much as they want outside of places where they might be harmed. Just say people might hurt you and like, try your best to answer the questions the kid has. I think that would have helped me a lot while also keeping me safe. I just also want to try and make a stronger case for something some people were trying to imply and encourage you to ask yourself how a parent would know for sure the kid isn't trans and think about what an impact that might have on the kids life if the parent who assumes they are not stops them.

Poor Paul beset upon by the mindless mob and their prickly pitchforks! he's the real victim here. Not the boys who want to wear dresses. Funny how TJ and Scotty are both in complete agreement with Paul but they don't even catch strays from the public lol. If you're gonna be dumb in public, make a friend who's gonna be dumb as well, but way louder than you. He will act as a lightning rod to keep the hate off of you.
