Manfredi & Johnson

I loved the discussion about facial expression. I think Mark Hammil’s emoting was his strength in the original trilogy, especially in the “I am your father” scene. By the time the sequels came around, he was charging Disney by the tear. It’s crazy that since recording Renee Good got shot & around the time this was published, ICE has just executed a man lying on the street.

I irony of the timing of this episode.

It's on a submarine and it can't come above a certain depth and they have to figure out how to get people up to the surface and it's a slow ticking drama, you can call it DEPTH

I understand why content like this would be unpopular, and why you guys might not like going to dark places like this. But it’s absolutely relatable, human, and real. This episode has inspired me in a few ways. Thank you for the honest feelings.

I can really relate to what you guys said about how the creative tank eventually runs out. As well as your remarks about everything feeling so morose and dower as of late. I'm a musician, writer, and I also do stuff on YouTube, I have a podcast, etc. I like to think I cast a pretty wide net. But as of late, there's just no fuel in the tank. It's kind of hard to feel inspired when you realize that there's a very likely chance really soon that a lot of people are going to die, and I'm probably going to be one of them. One of many. I just hope if it does happen, that it's over quick.

Speaking of people who feel just as strongly as you do and have nothing to lose.....

I know it's probably a pain in the ass to maintain but highly appreciate the audio only versions. Great episode guys!
