It was insanely boring. I can only watch a guy die a bunch of times in a video game for so long, and the commentary didn't save it. The other gauntlets at least had content, this was a kickstream about gaming 😴

I think we need to make this a weekly show. Onion nuggets once a week and once a week back seat gaming stream. That way TJ will get better (or fail and get more pissed) we get less horrible news. and we will sooner get to the day Paul's Ego will get his Endless suffering of TJ show off the ground. TJ suffering this day was legendary! I think he should suffer more for our Entertainment!!!

I think Tj did improve a lot throughout this play session. 1 tip i would give him though is to dodge into the enemy attacks rather then away, or dodge to the left. I feel like most attacks in the game come from that direction anyway. Hope to see more soon! :)

Man, I just feel bad for TJ watching this. You all gang up on him, giving him mixed signals about what strategy to use and then you're surprised when he keeps dying and resorts to killing the helpless "hobo" NPC's. I mean, I know you're all just doing it to gas him up and make the stream more entertaining, but to me, it was just aggravating, especially when the advice that you do give him turns out to be wrong. I think Scotty should have taken the controller and showed that he actually has the necessary skill to be talking shit the whole time. But hey, I still enjoyed it... when it wasn't just fucking annoying. I mean, Scotty's shit talking was actually funny when TJ was playing Cuphead, so there are times when it does work.

I'm not a gamer so watching TJ play Dark Souls for 5+ hours was pure torture. I tapped out after 2 and the 1 hour pre show was far more entertaining than this.

You clearly haven’t watched others play this game or played yourself. He’s catastrophically bad. Another comment nailed it, he moves like the controller buttons constantly reshuffle. He doesn’t strafe, roll, has no timing, just panic. And that’s the whole point. The bit is yelling at him while he fumbles through it. Nobody’s bullying a helpless child. TJ does not need you riding in to defend his honor.

TJ. most bosses just try to roll behind them and literally target their assholes. Rolling away can get you stun locked. Also Try Estoc sword with a medium shield. you can attack with your shield guard up, which is great for new players. Ds is all about finding a weapon you like the FEEL of and maxing it, for me it was Estoc.

Alright, enough of this bullshit. Here's all Stevie and Paul needs to have TJ do: (1) Have TJ farm souls until he can get a pluss 5. (2) Beat the gargoyles. (3) Use the souls from the garogyles to get to 16 strength, then head straight for the Zweihander. (4) Upgrade the Zweihander, then go beat Havel for his ring). (5) Beat the Capra Demon. (6) Get the large ember from the depths. (7) Beat the gaping dragon. (8) Just fucking sprint through Blightown and farm enough large titanite shards to get the zweihander to +10. (9) Beat Quelaag. (10) Head straight for Anor Londo for either the black iron or Havel set. (11) TJ has his tanky bonk build that can carry him through the game. That is, at least until he hits the DLC. Then he's still totally fucked.

Good job, TJ! I’m so proud of your progress at the end. You were better than Scotty by the time you reached the boss. My advice would be to avoid rolling a second time to take a swing. If you roll once to dodge and then roll again to get closer, you won’t have enough stamina to swing. Instead, roll into him as your doge or after your dodge, just run up to him to swing.
