Also, on the reasonability of protest laws in the UK, there has been a sustained effort to suppress any right to protest in recent years. A new set of laws came out after the "bristol riots" in which 'several officers were hospitalised', a claim later retracted by the police. The laws handed more suppressive powers and vague language that effectively make anything they dislike actionable. Need I even add that the "riots" were blatantly instigated from a peaceful protest? The summary a google search will return will seem reasonable, for the same reason that murder isn't legal unless a company profits off of it - that's not the law, but it is how it's applied.
