I want tournament of Champions Volume 3! Tournament of terror is getting old!

M

Feeder Paul.

Cameron

It’s not getting old, but tournament of champions needs to return as well

StonedFroot

if you want a vampire that could actually stand a chance, even though this character isn't from a horror franchise or even a movie. Ascended vampire Astarion from Baldur's Gate 3 would be a pretty good contender. -can walk in the sun - can turn into a horde of bats - summon a pack of wolves - paralyze weak willed enemies with his gaze alone - deadly combatant with knives and bows, also razor sharp claws and teeth - Acrobatic AND strong

Manfredi & Johnson

Jean Baptist of Perfume also brings plague and woah and maybe could be a contender. Also wasn’t there a move in the late. 2000s called Monster House? I wonder if it was based on House.

Cameron

Is the leprechaun going to be a contender?

Donkerly

The Wamphyri from the Necroscope books would go far. All you need is Thibor Ferenczy in his prime, when he was using the Crusades as an excuse to kill thousands. Great series.

Jaden batts

I second vampire ascendant astarion. Canonically extremely powerful and has basically none of the traditional vampire weaknesses. Could even have a roll that gives him a small chance of being in control of the elder brain, which would make him nearly unstoppable

Here are some of my ideas: https://avp.fandom.com/wiki/Grid Grid from Aliens vs Predator - a smart xenomorph that kills 2 predators https://castlevania.fandom.com/wiki/Striga Striga from the Netflix Castlevaina, a vampire who learns way around there weaknesses and does not rely on any thing other than brute strength (video of her in action https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oKH93G-2GnQ and an oddball one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2HPq-WDnFQ Ghost In the Machine - the Address-Book Killer. A serial killer who dies and his soul ends up online and keeps killing via hacking and taking over the machines all around us

Matthew Yoppini

Ash from The Evil Dead should be in the tournament as a competitor or ally

Mondo_Bruh

Yall should include house M.D so we can have house vs House. Jokes aside The Mummy from the Brendan Frazier series would be a great inclusion.

ShivaCrunch

Very good, starting early this year

Fucking love tournament of terror

Smokey816T

Vampire God (La Magra) the final form that Deacon Frost turns into in Blade!!! He gets immunity to sunlight, silver, garlic, etc. I think he would be a powerful choice for a vampire!

John Smith

It's become kind of an annual ritual (no tj, not an anal ritual) for me to listen to most if not all tournaments of terror around Halloween time.

AlterEgoIII

Yall literally promised Leprechaun was gunna be in the last one and when I brought it up he wasn't in it TJ got pissed at me

I think in order to buff Dracula, you go with his Bram Stoker version. In both the Gary Oldman film and the book he's only weaken by daylight meaning his strongest powers are nerf. That said, he's still got sway over animals. Even better, do the Castlevania TV show version

Dracula went all the way up to, and defeated Pumpkinhead once, (before losing to Pumpkinhead in the loser bracket rematch). You guys changed the rule from ToT 2020 to ToT 2023. ToT 2020 it was assumed it was night, 2023 he had to roll for night. Does that really matter? I don't think so, there are better vampires than Dracula. I agree Orlok or Castlevania Dracula were prima facie better choices. Dracula made it to the Heavy Wights finals in 2020, and defeated the up-until-then undefeated Pumpkinhead in the first round.

Pyramid Head from Silent Hill or The Nemesis from Resident Evil 3 would be good additions to the TOT

So I really want like an intellectual like Hannibal Lecter or Jigsaw put back in the tournament. Don't have to put both. Just 1 is fine since they both did pretty well in the 1st tournament. The House being in there I think is pretty unfair since by default it's on it's home turf, and location can really swing some battles in an interesting way, such as The Warlock and Pinhead. I really would like some fresh additions to the tournament since I feel someone like Michael Myers is pretty old. Not retired permanently. Just takes a year off for guys like him. I think it would also be interesting if you sprinkled in like 1 or 2 horror protagonists like Ash Williams from Evil Dead. Someone like him that has weapons, or even a group like the Colonial Marines from Aliens if you guys do groups again. But I'm super excited and can't wait. It's become a yearly tradition that I actively look forward to now.

Vampire is definitely the "Glass Cannon" build of the tournament of terror. High damage and power, but very frail against their weaknesses.

Hatemile

It would be pretty cool if the house from "House" is a location rather than a competitor. But, if it shows up as a location, the house tries to defeat the winner of the combat, and if successful, THEN moves on as a competitor? Basically stealing someone's spot in the tournament.

Goon with a tire iron

Don’t remember if this has been done but what about all 4 of Draculas harpy brides in van helsing as a group entry
