Your NIGHTMARES will be so intense and vivid... I speak from recent experience. Woke up crying the other night. Wouldn’t recommend it.

I can't listen to guided meditations because I can't stand people telling me what to think. I know it's a silly hangup from my childhood and that people are always telling me what to think in society, but sitting by and just absorbing someone else's ideas as if they are my own is antithetical to how I consume to world.

All my nightmares are about natural disasters, accidents and being in war. The worst one was when I dreamt I got shot in the head and bled out in the street. I’ve never been chased in a dream by some unknown, I think that would be interesting.

Just get to a point when you’re exhausted (staying up till around 22-24 hours in a row and passing out here and there then listen to some music of something in your childhood that freaked you out. Mine was Forest temple in Ocarina of Time.

Had a few weird dreams after this, first i was doing some space travel with my brother, and I guess when we hit light speed reality became all disjointed, there were weird electronic noises, static, and my vision was a flashy and chopped up. Next I was smoking a bowl with my ex wife, I remember the bowl was black and tapped down, as if someone took a hit, then tapped it with a lighter. Don’t remember much of that one. Last one was I lived with my parents again and my mom was giving me all these rules and bitching me out. That was it

I couldn't do it. When you mentioned the door, my mind went to a very specific door that I wish to never open. Also, my healthy lungs made my breath twice as deep, so my rhythm was thrown off.

I didn't have anything original generate in my head, probably because I'm too awake and too connected to the pains and twitches of my muscles rather than sitting my focus into my own head. It did remind me of a piece of a dream I had once though. I was in a hallway of an abandoned and deteriorating hotel(?) and the golden light of the setting sun shines through the boarded windows and cracks in the structure. Dust shines and flutters dimly in the dying rays. I choose a room. It's empty. The floors are wooden. The walls are peeled wallpaper. There's one half boarded window, and a door towards the far corner of the room. I walk my way toward the door and the floorboards creak and collapse. I try to climb back up and then a cracked grey hand violently grabs my ankle. Then another hand, and another, and a few more. There's just a hoard of death under the floor and they want to keep me there I guess. The next part of the dream was that I was dead I think(?) but I woke up in a vast valley of grey stones. The only thing to see was a tiny farm house, so far on the horizon it was a dot. Kinda reminiscent of the house in the middle of nowhere in Courage The Cowardly Dog. So I just start walking. I have a lot of vague and horrifying dreams that should be nightmares but I guess I'm just used to it. I enjoy it at this point. It's fun dreaming of all the death and pain and destruction. Far more entertaining than reality. When I was like six more or less I had a dream that I shot three people, ate their flesh, and hid in a dumpster when I heard sirens. So these dreams aren't new lol

I am fucking shooketh, man. Definitely not doing this, as I already experience sleep paralysis semi-regularly. It isn't always alarming. Sometimes it's just a very blank morning. But then, I'm unsure of what's really going on if I'm having a blank morning. I can tell you that it didn't help that I left my guitar out the other night and that wasn't a pleasant morning, lmao.

After listening to this before bed, I had a nightmare of sorts but it wasn’t about me. It was about this girl who was raped by her own brother, and I was some kind of law enforcer, and I had to explain to her that I couldn’t do anything to prosecute without hard evidence. Later in the dream she attempted to kill her brother, but failed, and I had to throw her in jail for the attempt. Then later in the dream her brother raped someone else, and so I had to throw him in jail too, except the only available space was in the jail cell with his sister who he originally raped.
