A quick BJ for Los Patreones (everyone read!) (Patreon)

Hey y'all. Paul the Ball, Saltiest of them all here with a message I've been meaning to pass along for a while now.
COVID hit everyone like a ton of bricks. The economy is in shambles, folks are out of work, losing their homes and livelihoods, getting horribly sick and / or watching it happen to loved ones. It's horrible, crazy and totally fucking unprecedented in my lifetime.
Then, as if it wasn't enough for people, these protests jump off. As much as I support the protesters, and you all know that I do with a passion, I know what the destruction means for many average folks. Lost wages, lost jobs, more financial hardship, more drama and anxiety at home.
In addition to the above, I personally have recently gone through a really low point in my own mental heath. The last year of my life, it has taken everything I have to attempt to be funny or interesting for all of you. I know I've failed at that multiple times, but believe me when I say I never stopped trying my damnedest.
Yet, through all this, I have been extremely fortunate in comparison to most people. Yes, I've been quarantined now for over 2 months, but my livilihood has not been threatened in the least. My bills are paid. There is food on my table and a roof over my head and the heads of those I love.
I have you, and that means each and every one of you here to thank for that. I don't ever want you to feel like I take your support for granted. As a matter of fact, despite all the chaos 2020 has brought thus far, our patreon somehow, improbably, continues to grow. I can't tell you how amazing that feels as a creator, ESPECIALLY now, at this time.
So thank you, thank you, thank you all a thousand times over. I hope you all enjoy the meals we've been whipping up for you in the DFF kitchen. There are exciting things on the horizon for Pessimist Productions, and I feel truly honored to have such a loyal group of people to share it all with. I won't put words in their mouths, but I think it goes without saying that my fellow pessimists and the whole team would echo the sentiments above.
Thank you all again!
In Solidarity,
- Paul
