I think the video above sums up my feelings quite well.

I've been heavily re-thinking what I want to do with the Squirrel Power project. I still plan on making animations in the universe of the series, but those who are pledging any amount of money to my Patreon will already be able to access the comic I've been developing that takes place in the universe of Squirrel Power, and was one of my original ideas for the project before I decided to work on the ambitious teaser/trailer videos.

I have always been a huge fan of animation and bringing characters to life, but in order to do that I have to be realistic. The trailers were released as a proof of concept to get people excited for the project, and while I did end up getting a few patrons, it's obvious that in the meantime things need to be reworked a bit.

I'm excited for the future now that I'm prioritizing myself more, but it was honestly very difficult to get myself to this point of vulnerability. Once you broadcast yourself, you can't really undo it, so you have to be careful not to reveal too much unless you're prepared for the consequences. I was able to retain most of my anonymity, but hopefully this video will still provide plenty of context for my actions thus far.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me on this journey, I don't know where I would be without you guys. <3
