srslyneveragain

Always appreciate the recommendations. Makes it way easier to figure out what stuff I want to watch with my mom!

Jimmie Hammel

The only show that has interested me this season is Kusunoki's Garden. I liked the first episode so much I bought the first 3 light novels. There's 10 in Japanese, but only 3 have translated so far. 😢

Felix

Chainsaw man fans would have a much different reaction to their favorite mangaka breaking into their home

Sam Hatter

I really appreciate you adding the lists at the end accompanied by icons of where to watch them, it makes it a lot more convenient than zipping back and forth through the episode to get to the right part where the title shows. Definitely keep this as a new standard!

Brian Auxier

Damn straight you mention Botan Fully Blossoms When Drunk. There is some chill vibes in that show :)

Hugo Castermans

welp, guess we're not sleeping this season...

Some guy

I find it both deeply amusing and incredibly frustrating that you spent several minutes gushing about Witch Hat Atelier, while also TELLING ME NOTHING ABOUT IT THAT I COULDN'T ALREADY SEE WITH MY OWN TWO EYES! Yes, it is absolutely beautiful. I can see that. That still doesn't tell me why I should watch it. What is the plot? Who are the characters? Is it a feel-good show or one that will kneecap me in the emotions every episode? I understand the urge to gush, but seriously, some actual information would have been nice.

Pyo Heliobros

You can't do this to me Geoff. I can't watch all this, there's too many good series and I only have that much time! *internally screaming* What I'm gonna doooooo

KavanVII

Good thing I never intended to leave my house anyway

Bpendragon

Otagal mentioned. Initiating required protocol: Throuple. Or. Riot.

Bpendragon

Because to tell the story of Witch Hat, especially the first ~4 chapters, literally ruins the magic.

Sin Parks

for me the closest analogy is “what if you crossed fma with kiki’s delivery service”. It has its emotionally shattering moments and complex plot and worldbuilding elements, but it’s also a coming of age story with a strong emphasis on hope in the face of despair maybe geoff is saving his big WHA pitch for a future video?

Nuclear_Nautilus

Oh boy can I not decide what to watch (probably gonna choice paralyze myself into none of them) but hats off to stellar categorization

Robert Moreno

My daughter and I watched the first episode of Witch Hat Atelier....awesome! We're hooked!

Michael KochKetola

You can never go wrong with an adaptation of a Rumiko Takahashi Anime!!

WhatUsernameIsn'tTaken?

And the backlog just... keeps... on.... growing....... Honestly part of me is jealous of your job and part of me is happy to *not* have it!

Scott Brady

Holy smokes I have of new stuff to add to my Crunchyroll watch list

Blue Jaye Phoenix

Angelbane

I must be blind because I see no such list. Honestly that is what I joined patreon hoping to find:/

Ogliara

Seconded!

David J. Thompson

Jeff: do you write you scripts with no punctuation at all?

David J. Thompson

Also, I'm enjoying your content AND the content of OceanVeil which you pointed me towards...inadvertantly, I'm sure.

Shaun Baker

Hey, just looping back after this season finished and just wanted to let you know that Botan Kamina was my hidden gem of the season. As someone with the specific brain damage of knowing way too much about different types of booze, some knowledge of Saitama and the Chichibu area producers, and generally liking a good romance story it hit hard. It’s incredible how many licenced brands they were actually able to include in the show! Also, the animation throughout was vibrant and gorgeous. Across seasons and geographic areas the vibes were really strong. Thanks for recommending!

Omar Luciano Lopez

I will always watch the whole video of someone talking about something he loves and likes with authentic passion and love. That's really rare on the internet nowadays.
