Drop everything, Geoff is speaking! 9:07 Heretical Queen: Yeah, when Jacki mentioned the feet thing, I had no recollection of those scenes! Must have slid off my brain because of how uncomfortable they were (for everyone but the guys doing it). But, looking forward to S2 (of it and everything else).

Ooh! My first uncensored video!

Turd Burgle Magelby

I've been pumped for dorohedoro since they announced a new season, so good

Tim Peierls

How does the Crunchyroll sponsorship interact with your stated concerns about their subtitling?

Lizzie

Shame about the AI background art. bookworm is an anime I would have liked if not for that

Cmdrwilkens

Huzzah for the Wistoria shoutout!

Stephen Atwood

I've started a rewatch of season one of Dorohedoro last week to prep for the second season. Still some of the best music (not only in anime) but in television. (K)NoW_NAME are Hall of Fame worthy.

Stephen Atwood

They might be holding Yazy hostage until the video comes out. 🫠🫠🧐🥸#s

You should at least give the first two seasons a try. I stopped there because I predicted the unnecessary entrance of political intrigue and suspense at the end of season two and wasn't very happy that kind of direction change in the narrative was going to ruin a perfectly good slice of life anime which (to me) didn't need that nonsense.

Kmk

Rent a girlfriend won't die but you'll wish it would

Space Cow

Some asterisks on that "new season of jojo" thing

Stephen Atwood

I just binged the first two seasons (a rewatch) of Sound! Euphonium as well as the 2019 movie. And will be starting season 3 (never watched) in preparation for the two-parter movie. Here's hoping they'll at least get a limited theatrical run here in NYC.

I'm in for Isekai Nonbiri Nouka S2, Ascendance of a Bookworm (if I"m not driven mad by the missing unpublished manga first) and for sure ReZero S4 which I wouldn't have watched at all except for your reccomendation (thanks MB).

EB

I find the background art less of a problem in Ascendance of a Bookworm than things like major plot points missing from the anime that make it not make sense. A lot of those are directly addressed in the books , but seem to have been cut for time on the anime. I noticed these and started to read the Manga because of it - only it turns out that the Manga isn't being published in order due to artistic restraints. *Cue confused screaming*

I'm so excited

Gareth Green

It’s too bad they got rid of Best Boy and Best Girl.

MrYewi

Okay so I wasn't the only one thrown off by it. Great.

Adam Foster

I was enjoying the vending machine anime but the “capitalist realism” aspect started messing with my viewing experience as the series went on. I know this stuff isn’t meant to be taken that seriously but there was something about how literally transactional all the interactions were becoming that started to interfere with my escapism.

WhatUsernameIsn'tTaken?

For what it's worth, I just read today that they're (thankfully) ditching the AI Slop on account of the fan backlash. Here's hoping that's true!

WhatUsernameIsn'tTaken?

Is it... wrong that I'm interested in watching Angel Next Door? Like, from what I've heard/read about the show, it's certainly not realistic (and I probably don't want to know what kind of person thinks it's realistic to expect whoever they date/marry to be their "second mom", ugh), but "warm and fuzzy" just about describes what I want in nearly any show, romantic or not.

WhatUsernameIsn'tTaken?

I don't want to know what kind of person would watch the show for more than a few episodes, let alone this many seasons...

Mother's Basement

That said you can get better warm and fuzzies from Gal Can’t Be Kind to Otaku?

WhatUsernameIsn'tTaken?

Fair enough, I'll check it out! Also, love that you reply to folks! You're very engaged with people out here and that really sticks out in this day and age.

zayian3

I been leaving it on in the background. I hate those characters and situation so much. I just keep hate watching it.

zayian3

When we going to get uzaki chan season3?
